Very central to all things in Edinburghv

enjoyed our stay House staff and resteurant staff very helpful and friendly This is our third visit to city west .Will come back again when in Edinburgh

Very hot on 6 floor. Had to request AC to be put on...was very inefficient and we couldn’t sleep due to the heat. Very old building with poor sound insulation. Buffet breakfast was 9£ per person and adequate but mass produced and nothing to boast about. Overall 3 out of 5.

A nice hotel for our purposes: staying the night before a morning flight out of Edinburgh. There is a playground in back that was great for our toddler.

It was a perfect place for stay and as well to commute to the city. Accessibility to the shops is also easy. Perfect stay and perfect location.

Clean, airy room with amazing view of city

The room exceeded expectations. The panoramic view at night was a joy. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and the sofa area by the window worked well. The only downside was that the dining room was far too hot which made for an uncomfortable breakfast. The dining staff were very pleasant but they too seemed overshot. Somebody needs to turn down the heating and open the windows or provide some air conditioning otherwise breakfast is not fun. One other thing, please use less cleaning spray when cleaning the tables - not very nice to inhale while you are waiting for your poached egg. Apart from these two points, which can be easily remedied, can't fault and thoroughly recommend.

Nice Hotel with a great location!

Pros: Location of hotel and great view of city from the room!
Cons: The hotel staff needs to be reminded that they need to be polite, professional and courteous
Location: Great location with access to supermarket and shopping mall across the road.
Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. Excellent hotel in terms of cleanliness which is our number one priority! The only thing that was terrible was the front office staff and the housekeeping staff. It was hot under the collar when the receptionist bluntly told that we do not offer complimentary water bottles for the price you paid. £70+ per night is what I paid for the stay which is decent amount of money. The room was not cleaned on any of the days and we had to follow-up with them to get towels and tea bags. Unacceptable! They never replaced the linen sheets for the entire stay.... Apart from the unprofessional treatment, the hotel room was excellent with great view of the city!
