The room was a bit tight, and the elevators were kind of a circus. We liked the location, but the breakfast was a zoo; even though the food was ok, the experience wasn't great. I know they do warn you about this, however traveling with a toddler does limit our time options and breakfast was only til 10:30 on weekdays. No idea where the parking was, but it wasn't out front which made for a bit of a scramble. But the staff were nice, even if they only refilled our coffee with decaf.

Hotel was okay. Just heating didn’t seem to work. It was so cold. Bed is very small. Floor was making lots of creaking noises when you walk around. This was on level 6. Felt sorry for the people below us. Only 7 car parks but had to pay 20 pound for 1 night. There is a lift but there is still stairs to get to you room. Very strange specially when you have luggage.

We enjoyed our stay here!! It was clean, felt safe, not far from bus stop to get around, friendly staff, excellent breakfast options, room was ready early, and easy baggage hold option if needed. I would definitely recommend. (As a precaution I check all beds for bedbugs and thankfully didnt find any but the pull out sofa could use a vacuuming underneath.) I appreciate the cleanliness throughout the hotel otherwise!!

Hotel was great! Room was clean, staff was helpful and so nice. Very good breakfast and good WiFi. It was in a great location in the city- walkable to anywhere! Plus, had a great Italian restaurant (Gulianos) right beside it! Would definitely stay again.

Standard hotel, ideal location for getting around the city centre, shops all close by and the tram getting back to the airport is on the doorstep. Downside, room was basic, no fridge, no room service. Breakfast was just chaos we never sat upstairs in the main dining area, we were in the bar area, nothing was on the tables, I had to keep getting up and down to get cutlery, condiments etc. Pretty basic breakfast, limited choice. One breakfast staff member in particular was grumpy, no service with a smile, and was quite rude when I asked for a spoon for the eggs, she said no we're taking this away now, there's food upstairs... Again inconvenient seeing as I had my 4 year old son sitting on his own downstairs whilst I'm having to keep going upstairs. Also the food was being taken away at 09:10, service is meant to finish at 10am...

I would like to apologize to you for not meeting your expectations with regards to our breakfast, however, due to the Brand Standard there is little we can do in that respect.Breakfast can get very busy that's why all guests are advised of the busy/quiet times but it is ultimately up to them to decide when to come down for it.Our main breakfast area stays open as advertised but the bar/lounge area that is used for additional seating is tidied up earlier than that so it can revert to being the bar/lounge.We hope that you will give us the opportunity to serve you again in the future. Great location
Great location for this hotel just across tram from airport and 5 minutes to Princes street and about another 10 to royal mile and castle . Very clean and comfortable room although no conditioner provided ( just a little gripe). Lovely buffet breakfast with hot and cold choices Would recommend booking through hotels.com as a lot cheaper than just turning up

The hotel was in an excellent area for walking around the city. My main disappointment was breakfast which was just awful as the hotel did not operate a booking system and as it was very busy there just wasn’t enough space or food to cater for the number of guests. Some of the guests, including us, were forced to sit in the lobby downstairs on bar stools. Other than that, the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was comfortable but the plumbing made a very loud clonking which went in for ages each time the toilet was flushed. I would definitely stay here again due to the location.
