It was right on the Royal mile close to restaurants, bus tours, train station. Spacious room & nice offerings. We liked the late check out at 12 PM.

This was a nice hotel in a great location but it was so cold. I had to call reception twice to ask them to put the heating on in my room, the pool was too cold to use and the temperature in the lounge and restaurant was uncomfortable at best. Such a shame - we booked this hotel especially for the pool but taking a swim was more an act of endurance than a pleasurable experience. I wouldnt recommend this hotel if you want to be warm!!

We had 1 bedroom suite excellent room and separate bedroom very convenient for all of Edinburgh site seeing and grabbing a bus to anywhere Only complaint was our room cleaner stank of BO which lingered in our room and they don’t know how to hoover under things otherwise excellent

The whole experience of the hotel exceeded our expectations. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Facilities were great, breakfast was delicious. The bed was very comfortable and room was really quiet. Location perfect for exploring Edinburgh, particularly handy for local Museums and the Royal Mile. Wouldn't hesitate to come back again, in fact planning next trip already.

It was on the Scottish mile. The end of the mall was the castle. All the food that we had in the town was great. Nice shopping. Nice people nice place.

Fantastic hotel which delivered a personal touch
We had a fantastic time, celebrating a 30th birthday. I contacted the hotel in advance and they were kind enough to put balloons in the room and presented us with a selection of sweet goods in celebration shortly after we got to our room. The facilities were excellent, the hotel was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Every member of staff we spoke with made us feel welcome. Would happily stay again next time we come to Edinburgh.

Lovely hotel
Lovely hotel in the heart of old downtown Edinburgh. Matthew, the concierge was very helpful for anything we needed. Comfortable beds and rooms are well sized. The shower was that weird bathtub with a tiny piece of glass so you have to work very hard to not get water in the floor. Spa and pool area are quite small for the number of rooms in the hotel so try to visit in the morning or early afternoon to avoid overcrowding.

Lovely but needs to improve room cleanliness
The hotel was lovely however the cleanliness of the room was debatable. It wasnt cleaned properly, there was rubbish left from a previous persons stay, bathroom was not wiped down properly and the room didnt look to have been hoovered. We mentioned this to the staff, Mr Hogg was very apologetic and took my details for their management meeting the following morning to ensure standards on cleanliness is improved. It looked as though it hand had a full deep clean in months or even a normal daily clean for a while. Overall the hotel is lovely and the staff were great just a shame the room was a let down. Tried add images to show but the link doesnt work.

Due to a massive snowstorm I was unable to get from Inverness to Edinburgh. I attempted to cancel my reservation but the hotel refused so I lost two nights, costing me approximately $1000.00 Cdn. This hotel has no compassion in a situation I couldn’t control. I will never stay at a Raddison again and I hope others who read this will look elsewhere.

I thought I could handle staying in a Hostel all weekend. I quickly learned that lifestyle is not for me. I booked at 3:30 am for 2 nights and was able to check in early which was not expected but greatly appreciated. The rooms were very nice and very eco-friendly! I have never stayed anywhere that provided the amenities that they did for FREE! Bath Salts, Shoe Polish, Shaving Kit, and a Wet Sauna!! I will be booking here again for my next trip to Edinburgh.

2nd stay here. Fantastic view from 6th floor and perfect location. Lovely room and facilities. Only slight gripes - night check in staff knew nothing of green housekeeping scheme. Asked for 2 more firm pillows for bad neck - got 1 soft one. Veggie sausages are very cheap and nasty for such a nice hotel.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Room was amazing!! We upgraded and well worth it … plenty space… extra large very comfortable bed. Excellent facilities in room and parking in hotel too . Will definitely be back !!

Great view from the room. Food was delicious. Friendly staff. Hospitality tray a bit sparse for the price.
