Good stay, breakfast not included

Posted Dec 31, 2016
Excellent location, nice breakfast but it really should be included in the room rate. We paid enough for it!

Large modern hotel in good location.

Posted Dec 19, 2016
Pros: The standard rooms were excellent. Good size, quiet, and nice bathrooms with multi-coloured LED lighting
Nice hotel with clean, spacious modern rooms, and nice decor throughout with local photos and artwork. Walkable to the main shopping areas, although taxis are always out front. Breakfast is pretty expensive, but there is an All Bar One right outside and other local alternatives. Pool is very nice. There is an optional extra charge to use the special sauna area with the outdoor spa pool. Check out is 'noon', so it's possible to have a long lie, or go for a swim in the morning without rushing.

Check in staff rude and made you feel not good enough to stay in their hotel. Shower had a sewage smell from drain and air con was not working.

Beautiful hotel for business visit

Posted Dec 1, 2016
The hotel is clean & centrally located. Rooms are very comfertable & well appointed(be aware of the chair on castors its lethal)if you booked looking forward to usung the rooftop jacuzzi it's not free & the charge is exhorbitant. £22 for breakfast, go over the road for twice as good at half the price. more aimed at business than tourist.

Excellent service at this beautiful hotel

Posted Nov 16, 2016
Pros: Everything! I would definitely stay here again.
Location: Near the castle and main shopping streets.
Spotlessly clean and excellent helpful staff at this Sheraton hotel. We stayed 2 nights and had a meal in the bar 'grazing menu' and used the hotel pool. The meal was a little expensive but very nice and fresh. The pool area was spotlessly clean with a sauna (free to use). The spa area was an extra cost. Every member of staff was lovely and always polite & helpful. Our rooms were sumptuous with a fantastic lighting system (we stayed in a classic with Kingsize bed) and a beautiful bathroom which could be open plan or sectioned off depending on your requirements. One security plus which I have not come across before, when using the lift you need to apply your room card to the contact point in the lift to be able to access the residential floors of the hotel. An excellent way of keeping only hotel residents using the bedrooms with only the reception & bar areas on the 1st two floors available to non residents.

Nice Atmosphere

Posted Oct 26, 2016
Pros: Above average comfort anf facilities.
Location: Good location opposite Usher Hall and behind the conference centre
Reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. We found the location good as just off one end of Princes street. Very nice room with lots of above average touches. Particularly liked the night light for finding my way to the bathroom in the dark. The swimming pool was excellent but an additional £30 to enter the spa facilities was a bit much.

Central location

Posted Oct 23, 2016
The hotel is large with all the expected services available Our room was on level 6 of 7, under the room window was some type of generator which at times became annoying more so in the mid hours of the morning The room itself had good modern amenities, the variety of lighting was very well done, only niggle was shower door was ill fitting resulting in a flooded floor and the shower head requiring repair The midday check out was a bonus compared to the majority of 10am check outs Would I stay again? If a decent deal is on the table then it's a yes, other hotel chains of similar stature can provide dinner and breakfast if booked early enough for cheaper
