Need plenty of renovations

Pros: The Harolds Restaurant deli attached to the hotel, great pastrami sandwich
Cons: Renovate the hotel
Location: None
Quick check in process Hallways dark, need more lighting, carpet old, bathroom shower faucet continued to leaked, even been reported to be fixed to the staff, you have to beg for washcloths, housekeeping at one time said none available, not enough blankets, sheets thinned out, room wasn't cleaned well or vacuumed, furniture desk showed age, top side missing. Just need overall renovation.

Dont wast your money or your time..

Pros: That i will never stay there again

I called up to see what time check in was who ever answered the phone was very unprofessional .. "Ring ".. Hello ..Is this the E-Hotel .. YA.. My room was freezing took two hours for the heater to heat up the room. Beds where hard as a rock would have bin better off on the floor. not to mention the half size kid pillows to sleep on and not one comforter on any of the beds just a very thin blanket and a sheet. why would you have a room with no kind of curtains to block out the light or for privacy ?? yep i wanna see the sun as it rises every morning.. The shower did not work right could not pull up the spot to tune on the shower head all the way so both tub and shower head we're spraying everywhere not only in the tub. for a none smoking hotel shore smelled like weed all over it mostly in the elevators.. over all I want my money back for this stay .. The E Hotel Gets a F....

noticeabley dirty right off the bat....

Pros: nothing!
Cons: it could be so nice if they cleaned and kept up on it.
Location: good location just so dirty!
when you walk in the room and see numerous stains on the bed its confusing how the person who put them on didn't notice that... so shows they just don not care! then to top that off there was a blood stain on the curtain.... absolutely disgusting!

Close to the convention

I love it it was very nice and clean and close to my convention it had a bar downstairs really nice and everyone was very helpful

In such a busy spot. Hard to get there from the highway. Hot water pressure from the bathtub was poor, but enough to take a shower. Room was not very clean...yet I didn't think it was enough for me to complain about. My door key stopped working twice so I had to go all the way down to the Lobby that I just walked through with bags in my arms so they could reprogram my door key. My cable on the TV was shoddy and with static. And I could only get about 5 channels. Again it wasn't important enough to me to call the front desk about. I wasn't there for pleasure so cable not that big a deal, but bothersome. Yes I would stay there again because it was cheap.

Cheap but filthy

Pros: I liked leaving the hotel.
Cons: CLEAN THE PLACE AND FIX BROKEN THINGS WRONG WITH THE HOTEL
Location: I uber'd it to and from the hotel so I couldn't say anything positive or negative about the area.
I did choose to stay here because of price. I don't mind an outdated hotel however I hate anything dirty and this hotel is indeed filthy. The pictures on Expedia do not represent this hotel at all. When I first saw a 3 star rating I thought I would have a cheap hotel to sleep in and shower. That is all I needed. I arrived in the morning and while the hotel clearly had plenty of vacancy, the hotel charged me $15 to check in early as opposed to simply give excellent customer service. The wall above the desk in my room had black stains on it. I took a damp cloth to the wall simply out of curiosity and wiped it down and it was disgusting. The full length mirror had fallen off of the wall previous to my trip by the bracket with the anchors was still sitting on the microwave oven and the mirror was leaning against the wall. The reception on the TV was horrible. The curtains were falling off of the curtain rod. Overall this is a cheap and dirty hotel. The staff at the front desk doesn't seem like they want to be there.

Really nasty place, alot of violence happened while i stayed, it was very unclean

would not recommend any one staying at this hotel. Hallway and elevators smelled like urine and the staff was rude

Do not stay at the Hotel E in Edison NJ

Pros: I like that it was close to my venue I was attending and that it was attached to a Harolds of New York.
Cons: Replace the carpet on all floors, fix Elevator's, Train Staff, Clean up the bar (polo lounge) get rid of the weird odor that is in the hotel.
Location: This hotel is prime location if you are attending the NJ Expo Center and close to New York City
hotel was filthy and smelled very bad. Worst experience ever. The staff were untrained and unaware how the expedia process worked that they tried to charge me again after I had already paid expedia. It is a shame as this hotel is in a prime location with a Hilton Garden in Next door and a Sheraton up the road.

Horrible experience

The hotel smells like mildew, the cleaning staff is very rude, and room had bed bugs. This place needs to be shut down.
