Nice: Microwave, fridge, tv, iron, hairdryer. Could be better: Train tracks outside, can hear a couple trains pass at night. When we went into the room, we only had one roll of toilet paper.

Two complaints: 1. Plug in room fresheners are way too heavily scented. We immediately unplugged them and opened the window. 2. Breakfast buffet - why can't American hotels be more like European hotels? This buffet was hearty, but it was only eggs, meat and potatoes. U-cook pancakes and waffles if you don't mind carbs. Only bananas for fruit. A few small pastries. Otherwise, this is my go-to hotel in Edmonds. Pet friendly, too.

We always book here when we need a quick getaway from reality. They have the most amazing breakfast choices with plenty of hot food and even gluten free choices. In the lobby there is a coffee machine as well as drip coffee and tea at all times. There are yummy cookies with these beverages. The king suite room is amazing with a jacuzzi tub and fireplace. It is just steps from either the Edmonds waterfront or Main Street with cute shops and delicious restaurants and cafes. It is also quiet which is great for unwinding. All of the staff I have encountered in my multiple stays here are always friendly and accommodating.

The reason for my 2 star review is because the night we stayed happened to be during a period of outside freezing temperatures. The hotel staff neglected to turn the heater on in our room. The room was literally FREEZING when we entered. The front desk said that housekeeping usually turns the heating unit on when the room is booked and the only thing they offered at the time was that they didn’t know how long it would take to warm up. It took 6 hours for the room to heat to a comfortable temperature. We literally had layers of clothing on under the covers. My mistake was not asking for another room Immediately. The hotel gave me a $20 refund which I do not consider appropriate for this situation.

Thank you for your review. Housekeepers clean the rooms and whoever inspects the rooms is to ensure that the heat is on. We do apologize for the inconvenience of this. Our desk agent you spoke to that evening said it shouldn't have taken long, and had you called back we would have 100% did a room move to take care of you. Due to this reservation being made through a 3rd party, the rate was already low and 20 was best we could offer. Had you booked directly through us, we could have provided more of a discounted rate due to this occurrence. If you ever return, we can accomodate with 15% off our best available rate as offered in person yesterday. We truly value your feedback and business,

The breakfast bar had so many options. Loved the spacious Delux 2 queen bed room. Lots of room for husband and I and our dog. Like having a dining room table, chairs, microwave, refrigerator, kitchen sink, cupboards, and additional sink separate from the bathroom.had a little trouble with double payment . We booked through Expedia and paid. Then they charged our card again at the hotel. A hassle to straighten out.

Hotel is ageing, but a solid 3 star, not so family friendly with female employees of the bar performing acts in the window reminiscent of cheap pornography in the 2nd floor of the hotel. My wife was NOT amused, I was concerned as we may have had our grandchildren with us. Hope they fix it, not sure what the heck was going on at this point. Management felt I was at fault for notifying them the next am rather than on our way in, but we were tired and the desk was unoccupied AND not really my job. The general manager was indifferent, have no idea why... wanted to know what he could do but stated they were employees of the bar. Perhaps the reputation of the hotel would enjoy NOT renting a room to these people. Given the $130 price point, probably better values available in a 5 mile radius.

We have stayed here before and had a good experience. The lobby was decorated nicely for Christmas. Our room was clean and quiet. The staff was nice. Breakfast had more options than many places. There were eggs, sausage, potatoes, tortillas to make breakfast burritos, pancake machine, waffle maker, cereal, fruit, yogurt and more. There was a coffee and cocoa machine that made good drinks. It was stormy out, but if the weather is good you can walk to the waterfront where there are some restaurants. Will stay here again.

Pool is out doors so the hot tub was closed for season. We enjoy using that amenity at the hotels we stay at so that was disappointing
