Hotel Stay

Posted Jul 28, 2015
Pros: It was nice and clean.
Cons: I would make a deal in regards to the parking.
Location: It is handy that it is downtown.
The hotel room was nice and the hotel staff was friendly, but it is disappointing that you have to pay for parking and the hot tub wasn't working. The hotels should give a discount when not all of the amenities are working.

Pleasant oasis in the heart of the city

Posted Jul 27, 2015
Pros: Great walkable location to downtown amenities and the 104 Street Farmers' Market on Saturdays. Rooms are clean, comfortable, great for productivity.
Cons: Perhaps some upgrades to the fitness area.
Location: Jasper Avenue, 104 Street Market, Churchill Square, City Hall, City Centre Mall, restaurants, night life.
The staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful, all the way from the front desk clerks to the breakfast server at 104 Cafe to the bartender in Malt's. The newly remodellled rooms were modern and comfortable, and I really loved having a whole table to spread out my materials and get some work done. The only minor quibbles I had were that the hot tub was temporarily out of order (these things happen) and there was no elliptical in the fitness room (I can't do treadmills owing to a balance/foot issue), but these are hardly deal-breakers. It was a great stay and I'd come back with no hesitation.

It's an okay hotel

Posted Jul 18, 2015
The hotel looks pretty decent on the inside but the outside is very stained and dated looking. Also while I was staying here the WiFi speeds were HORRIBLE. They didn't even provide a paid high speed internet service. Also the one and only meal I ordered from room service came to my room cold and tasted bland. It's almost as if they bought the frozen stuff from Costco and just reheated and served it onto a plate. Next time I come to Edmonton, I definitely will not be staying at this hotel.

Decent hotel in downtown Edmonton

Posted Jul 18, 2015
Pros: The rooms were the best feature; clean, very quiet, updated.
Cons: The rest of the facilities.
Location: We went for the Women's World Cup game so didn't do much else. We did go to the West Edmonton Mall, which was gigantic, was not to far.
The rooms were updated, clean, pleasant, and quiet. The rest of the facilities were ok. The pictures of the pool, hot tub, work out facilities on the website looked very different than the actual facilities. The hot tub and steam room weren't working during the time of our stay and the pool is very small. Paying for parking is inconvenient. There were some restaurants around but more for adults and after 8:00 with kids it was difficult to find a place to eat. We ended up ordering room service. It was easy to get to other places in Edmonton. For the rate I got it was a great stay but wouldn't be worth the full price.

Good location downtown and nice view (16. floor)

Posted Jul 18, 2015
We were overall very happy with over stay in Coast Edmonton Plaza. The location was perfect for us, who have never been in Edmonton before. A lot of the stuff we went to was in walking distance. The staff was ekstremely helpful at several occasions. The view was nice. Especially at night where you could see all the lights from the city.

Shame about lack of good tea and coffee making facilities, but good to be able to get bus direct from airport to hotel
