Conference HotelPosted Sep 18, 2017
Pros: Comfortable bed, great shower pressure, friendly staff
Cons: Environmental support should look more closely at things like stained carpet and cleaning the walls to eliminate unsettling sights.
Location: There is a casino attached to the hotel. If you have a vehicle, West Edmonton Mall is a short distance away with great food and shopping.
Generally a nice stay. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had very nice pressure, the two things that are most important to me in a hotel. All of the staff were very friendly except the man that checked me out when leaving, he pretty much just gave me my receipt without even a 'Have a nice day'. I only had a few disappointment. I had asked for no feather pillows and had four when I got there, asked for a higher floor-and was on the 3rd, there was a large stain on the carpet right at the entrance that I hope was red wine and not blood, and there was some dried droplets on the wall (hopefully just from an innocuous liquid)

Great concert and fun experiencePosted Sep 17, 2017
Location: Lots to do
My birthday party held at Hotel, was wonderful. Enjoyed the concert, loved the atmosphere and tried to secure a sound future in your casino

It's okay I guess.Posted Sep 3, 2017
Definitely not as nice as I thought it would be. The buffet was terrible. Actually the food in the Tap restaurant was mediocre at best. Service was good though. All in all not really impressed and probably won't go back.

Condition a pleasant surprisePosted Aug 25, 2017
Since this facility has been around for awhile, we thought that some wear and tear would be evident. However our room was in excellent condition, the floor was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Numerous options for eating on site was a bonus as well

Always a great stay at the Marriott. Bed and room are very cosy. Fridge is helpful and they have a great area for gambling, breakfast, dinner. etc....

Nice hotel.. but the parking situation was odd!Posted Jul 24, 2017
Pros: The cleanliness, the decor, the casino and the location.
Cons: Perhaps a better system for parking. Note down each guests license plates and inform them if their vehicle needs to be moved for some unknown reasons.
Location: The location was very easy to find. There are lots of restaurants nearby, as well as grocery stores and banks. The West Edmonton Mall is very close
The hotel was lovely. The rooms were nice, although quite small. We did request 2 queens but ended up with 1 king - not the end of the world! The bed was comfortable though. It did remind me a bit of a smaller version (much smaller!) of a Las Vegas hotel. The casino was big and had a lot of options. The entire property was well taken care of and very clean. The incredibly strange thing about my stay at this hotel had to do with parking. When we first arrived, the front desk did not ask for a license plate, nor did they ask you to put any kind of paper in your windshield. They insisted we could just "park anywhere." We picked a random spot (obviously not a handicap or reserved one!) which was fairly close to the hotel entrance. We had a lot of luggage, so we wanted to park as close as possible. The next morning, after checking out - we were making out way to the car... which seemingly vanished. We walked up and down several rows of cars, but no luck. You can imagine the panic that started to set in. Finally after about 5 minutes of going back and forth, we spotted the car way down the other end of the parking lot, no where near the hotel. It's obvious the hotel staff must have moved it at some point for some unknown reason. To not inform us of this was completely unacceptable. The mood of the trip quickly changed from "What a wonderful place" to "Oh my gosh, I almost just had a heart attack!". I would have loved to come back here, but now I am not so sure about that.
