Unpleasant stay

Room was very dirty ... The hotle looks 5 star once you come in to the front desk. Once you see the room it's actually 1 star room.. Carpet was dirty. Path room wasn't that nice ... Was too much for what we paid for... I wasn't happy neither my husband. We will not go there again.

Our room smelled like an ashtray my travel partner ended having to buy allergy pills and could not breath during our stay. The room was dirty severely outdated for the price , people were running around with animals and seedy/shady people were fighting outside of the hotel . It was not a safe environment , hotel restaurant took so long we left without even being seated. Staff were incompetent

Don't waste your money

Pros: Central location
Cons: Buildings. Building contents
Location: Close LRT access to downtown activities.
Outdated worn out rooms, scary noisy elevator etc etc .Was probably really nice in 1955 but unfortunately no or very little building maintenance has been done since then .Online pictures are somewhat misleading. Yes they are doing some upgrades but too little too late guys. Maybe a bulldozer would be a good option in this case.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, and I've stayed in some pretty questionable hotels. The room was quite outdated, which would be fine, except that it wasn't clean. The carpet had heavy staining throughout, there was something sticky on the floor. There was quite a bit of water staining and damage in the bathroom, and the room had a strange odour. They were upgrading the main floor/ lobby, but the floor of the hotel we were on needs some serious upgrading and deep cleaning. The only thing that earned any stars is the hotel staff was polite and inviting, and the sheets on the bed were nice and soft. I will definitely never stay in this hotel again, nor recommend it to anyone. This was extremely disappointing for a Ramada.

Close to Kingsway

Wasn't terrible but was undergoing renovations. Stayed for two nights and it was enjoyable but spent very little time in the room.

Renos underway, no excuse for shoddy experience

Renos will improve my impression but this place should offer free rooms for the duration... Filthy carpets on my floor, burned-out bedside lightbulb, very small (18" ish) poor quality 90s-style TV, extremely uncomfortable old foam pillows that could not be replaced with something better (they brought me two more of the same quality, which I declined) I will not be staying at this hotel again. It felt like one of those bargain $29/night places from the 80s.

Old hotel

The hotel is very old and ran down. It's kinda creepy & reminded me of a horror book I've read before. I kept imagining of a vampire lurking at the hallway or behind the curtain. It's old & not very clean. There are better 2 stars hotel than this one. Got no photos to show coz I didn't think I'd be reviewing this hotel.

Rooms are in very bad shape. Hotel staff very cold and unwelcoming. They have started to renovate the lobby however rooms are really dated and in bad shape.

Not what we expected for a Ramada

Pro's: stayed here for around $100 a night on sale. Beds were comfy. Easy access off of highway #16. Rooms good to get a quick sleep and on the road. Cons: pretty outdated and were undergoing construction. Staff could have been more friendly and should have apologized right when we checked in because there was no signs saying renovations and honestly lobby looked horrible. I wouldn't pay more than we did for the room.
