We stayed there a weekend when the hotel was sold out and waited in line over 30 minutes to check in. What was worse was the almost full hour wait in the lobby for our vehicle from Valet after calling down the recommended twenty minutes before departure. One person working valet on a sold out weekend...unacceptable. Loved the location of the hotel but sadly won't be back due to the very slow and disappointing customer service.

Check in was long, maybe 50 to 60 people in line because of concert and then when we got to the front our room was not ready. Need some help on busy nights. Room was okay, clean could use a few repairs. Elevators slow. The restaurant had great service and food.

Nice downtown hotel. Every bit of it is up to the 4 star status. A bit dated, especially the lobby and the elevators. In need of updating.

No hot water

Could not have a shower because there was no hot water. Because I booked through Expedia they could not compensate me for the inconvenience. However they did pay for my parking. I used valet and when the car came back it smelt like someone ate Greasy breakfast in it. I don't know if it was because of somthing smelling outside or someone used it.........

Disappointing stay

Cons: Again, we understand that this was the hotel's busiest weekend of the year, but they had lots of notice to get extra staff in to deal with us all.
We stayed Sunday February 19th at the hotel for the Garth Brooks concert. We certainly understand it was a busy weekend, but the hotel should have been better prepared for the weekend. There were only 2 staff checking in guests. At times, the lines were 50 people deep. The three rooms we booked were not available at check in. After insisting we wouldn't leave front desk without room, staff finally called cleaning department to see what rooms we could get. Only 2 of 3 elevators were working, so it often was a very slow ride from room to main floor. We were one of the lucky ones, as dozens waited in a line behind us.

Location is ideal - 10 min walk to Rogers Arena and access to city center through indoor pedway. Room was noisy - we were on the 20th floor and traffic was still loud and we could hear a cell phone in the next room. Bed sheets had some stains and tears. Parking is not included and very expensive

Best place to stay for Rogers Place events.

Pros: Proximity to Rogers place, indoor access to CHOP as well as Edmonton centre shopping.
Cons: Can be busy on event nights but staff is pretty efficient. Not much to complain about.
Location: Use the pedway to access shopping easily. One block walk to Rogers.
Hotel is well situated only a five minute secure walk to Rogers Centre events. a bit difficult to park out front to check in with only 2-3 parking slots out front. Learned later to just use underground parking around the block. Nice restaraunt and bar attached at CHOP. Really good food and service. Hotel staff were some of the best we've encountered. Property is a bit dated and cost is high like any downtown hotel.
