Never would recommend!!!

Pros: sadly the price...but never again
Cons: gut hotel and remodel...hire new staff
Not only was our room filthy....we had to clean our own bathroom just to be able to use it...slept in clothed with shoes as it was terrible!! Then we go down for breakfast...lady looking after the area cleaned table top...chairs..floors...toaster and breakfast are all with same cloth then drops cloth on plate (was in stack for guests) picked up garbage tossed in pail...then not removing the soiled gloves, picked up muffins by the top...bagels and bread and restocked continental breakfast area....thought I was gonna toss my cookies. Then we told gentleman at the desk what had happened and that's why we were checking out he wasn't the least bit surprised as this was an issue they continued to have with the staff.... it was a horrible experience!!! Expedia was amazing with helping us..will continue to deal with them for our future travels!!

At Travelodge we take things like this very seriously. The breakfast attendant in question has been given an official written warning and has been put on probation. There is no excuse for the experience you have been through and we would all like to apologize for any inconvenience you may have suffered. However, we did what we thought was right by working with Expedia to satisfy your needs. Additionally, we are extensively renovating the property and hope you will give us another opportunity in the future. Our goal is to always make sure guests leave our hotel happy. Best Regards.

Average hotel

I have stayed in a suite a few weeks ago and I was satisfied with it. On Saturday I was booked into double room with outside access(motel type room). The air conditioning was so noisy that we could not go to sleep with it on. Temperature was 30C on that day. The bed mattress was less than average (lumpy & too soft). I will return to this hotel only if I am able to get a suite.

The interior renovations will consist of updating all of our guest rooms, the lobby, breakfast area, and all hallways and walkways within the hotel. Was very comfy and had a homey feel

The staff were very helpful and especially kind! The room colors were a little dark and outdated but overall we enjoyed our stay and enjoyed the fresh bagels for breakfast. Was a great stay for the price!

Excellent budget hotel

This was perfect for our needs. We were in Edmonton for the artwalk and needed an inexpensive room to get a goid rest each night and shower in the morning. The rooms were clean and quiet and the air conditioner worked great. The complimentary breakfast was goid for a quick bite and a coffee before leaving each morning. There is a KFC next door and a Timmy's across the street. I would stay there again. Good value for the price and friendly staff.

Just a Motel

Cons: The parking lot
Although they were in the middle of painting the outside, this should really be called a motel as that is what it appeared to be. Nothing special, decent room which didn't smell bad after the airconditioner had been running for awhile.

You are correct it is technically a motel/hotel. 70% of our rooms are in the "hotel" side this includes the suites, while the rest are outside "motel" style rooms. We are aware our parking lot needs a little bit of attention. We will be refinishing the parking lot after we finish the interior and exterior renovations! Close to stores ,quiet good value for the buck and being able to do laundry was a plus even though it was over priced

Clean, comfortable, quiet room

Pros: I like the knowledgeable and helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms, and the location of the hotel. Walking distance from amenities is easy.
Cons: Renovations will be completed soon
Location: Amenities are close; shopping, movies, restaurants, medical.
Very pleased to interact with staff who are friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. Even the shuttle driver was extra helpful!

Nice hotel close to the airport.

Front staff doesn't know how to turn on heater in the room, so I just slept in my room feeling cold. But in all other aspects, my experience was good.
