Overall is very run down compared to photos. Sheets were dirty for the first 2 days on arrival. Floors were dirty. No working shower, no hot water. Kitchen barely has any food on menu never in stock or limited choices. Bed was extremely noisy. Pillows were awful we got very sore necks and back and we aren’t old. Rust present in bathroom. Mould in bathroom. Room smells musky like mould. Village across is very noisy. They leave big outdoor lights on that shine right through the windows while trying to sleep at night. All mesh on windows had holes so got bitten by a lot of mosquitoes. Place is not as advertised at all. Pool is a lot smaller than pictured. Owner walks around the place and should be ashamed of himself! Taking people’s money when place is nothing like photos. This place is disgusting and not want you want on a holiday! Would never recommend this place to anyone! We walked out and went to stay at another place plus they refuse a refund of course.

The staff really truly makes this stay amazing. They are so happy, so helpful, they made the stay great. The ocean views are fantastic and villas large and spacious. It is an experience to stay there. The island is a smaller island off the main island and there are no shopping centres, no TV no intent, nothing to distract you from total immersion into nature. Forest on one side, ocean on the other side, this resort was made for relaxation. We loved using the complimentary kayaks to explore the reef and the reef on the other side of the island was our favourite. Bed was very comfortable and so were the pillows. The chef made a great johlb adjusting dishes for my allergies, I notified the resort in advance about these and they were very helpful. The tuna steaks were amazing, never tasted fish so good.

Property had some great facilities, beach, gym and water sports all positives. Rooms a little tired, food very mixed bag and staff genuine and super nice people, but a little ineffective at the same time. A basic example was no water on the room on arrival, checked with reception who said it’s housekeepings fault, ask them the following day, they said it’s not them it’s reception and we never received any water. I think it’s too strong to say we regret staying here but I wouldn’t stay again. We had another four days in Vanuatu and moved rather than sought to extend.

Our hosts/staff were friendly and helpful. The bar/restaurant 'Birdies' is just right for the location, good vibe. The food is excellent but expect the prices to reflect what you'd pay back home. The accomodation was just right for us (family: 2 adults + 1 teen), we had seperate rooms with individual ensuites. The snorkeling was amazing and reputed to be the best on the Island: lots of different corals and fish. Water was warm, even in their winter. There is another bar down the road ('the Beach Bar') which is excellent: live performances and good pizza. But note that it is a lazy 40 minute walk if you miss the bus. The hosts who own/operate this resort are passionate about supporting this country and the Nevan people - accordingly their business has our support. We both recommend to stay at this resort and would stay there again.

Beautiful location, and friendly staff, host, and dogs. Beach was right there. We wanted to stay slightly out of town, and this was perfect for that. Very peaceful with some low stayers there. You would need a car (SUV due to road conditions) and bring groceries, rock shoes, and snorkels with you. The accommodation was cleaned daily and they even got our washing in before it rained! Which we much appreciated. The wifi played up a little, but was quickly fixed and Digicel plans are super cheap anyway.
