Horrible experience with this hotel. Front desk clerk was smoking pot by the front door . I had to walk through stink to get into hotel. When i called her out on the smell she refused to let me check in even though the room was already paid for. Said she didn't like my attitude. She took away my keys and told me i had to leave.

It’s a low price budget small, older, motel type of hotel. Convenient to highway and nice to have a ground floor room. The room was small but clean, beds comfortable, frig and microwave, breakfast was good. We were just travelling through so it was fine for a nights sleep.

Owner was amazing, washer had broken earlier in the week and she washed a load of laundry for us because her repair man hadnt been able to get the there to fix the public use machine! Will definitely stay here again for just the service we received!

All in all a very good experience. Front desk staff was fast and friendly. Full breakfast available from 6-9. Room was well appointed and everything worked as it should. Only drawback was the road noise since it basically backs onto the highway. Still, I would stay here again if the occasion arises.

This overnight stay was terrible. When we got there we had to wait on someone to come to front desk before we could even check in. Looked like someone was making flower arrangements in the very small lobby, so was trashy looking. No elevators so had to carry luggage to room. After we gat to room, refrigerator had mold and a dirty towel in the bottom. At 3:00 in the morning there was someone beating on the door across the room from us. Continued for 30 minutes or more. No phone in room so had to use cell phone to call and report it. Manager on duty arrived and told her she needed to leave or quit beating on the door. The lady stopped for awhile and started again. She stayed outside the door till someone came out then the screaming and fighting started outside. Wall were thin so you could here it all. Got our things packed and left. Worse experience e.ver after a funeral for mother in law

I will never ignore ratings again. The bathroom was disgusting- toilet seat and in bowl looked fine, but there was something colorless smeared on the porcelain, the grout and everywhere the walls met the flood was filthy.

It was easy getting on and off the Interstate. It was also easy to get to Golden Corral and the Effingham Performance center from the hotel.

The bed was neatly made and clean. It appeared that an attempt at updating the hotel was a fresh coat of paint on one side of the hallway. There was a large red stain on the carpet and a few other small stains of the same color. The bath mat had a few spots of black mold. Breakfast was subpar. The limited interaction with staff was friendly.

We were put into room 130 at the back of the property - its a dog room which we requested. It obviously was a smoking room in the past and was not nice. The walls had been painted at some point but the smoke filled ceiling never was redone. Carpet on floor was old and it smelled. I hate to give bad reviews but this room is pretty rough. Thank goodness I got a discount thru expedia or I would be really upset.

Pool not in operation, didn't realize until I saw the sign on the door. Appeared to be blood stains on one of the pillows. Public hair on sidewall of shower. Stains in carpet, on desk chair, and spots throughout the room. And hallway reeked strongly of Marijuana, the entire stay.

It has been a while since I stayed at Ramada- my expectation was it would be nice- far from it. They should cut this one lose. On the front desk was list of prices that they would charge for stolen items- towels, pillows, etc.- really nice welcome. We got to our room late, and they provided two large towels- no face cloths, or hand towels. So what- they are going to charge us for missing face cloths, hand towels? I took the name of the clerk in case they try to. Breakfast was great if you like synthetic foods- ie. nothing natural. As you enter the room, there is a light switch- but no overhead light- I think it was replaced with a smoke detector.
