Had a problem where the AC didn't work at night and then the hair dryer didn't work in the morning. Asked for a new hair dryer and front desk said there was nothing they could do

Warm friendly place

On behalf of my whole family I would like to thank Hampton Inn Mattoon and Hotels.com both for taking care of a reservation problem/misunderstanding and treating us with such great care!! We had traveled 9 hours to a ballgame, then sat for more than 3 hours in 4-degree snow and wind, only to arrive tired and cold to discover the date of the reservation was not Saturday night as expected. We are frequent customers of both Hotels.com and the Hampton Inn chain, and both companies seemed truly concerned for us, corrected the problem for us, and got us in a warm, dry room quickly. Thank you sincerely for your great care and for making us a bit more comfortable in a time of need!!
