After a day of riding a motorcycle it was a welcome rest. Even though requested acesable room, was not available, second floor was a bit of a hike with no elevator.

Under room more details it had a microwave listed. Because my health I need to use one twice a day. I called this to their attention she said the room that was booked did not have one. She also stated that the I booked through hotels.com they could not even give me a different. They did allow me to use the public one.Had I known that they would not have one I never would have booked there.

Bare Bones

Very basic old hotel, thin walls, hardly any bedding - was cold as were other guests. Bed very hard. We were only there for 1 overnight but will not go back.

Reserved and prepaid, staff had no clue

Posted Jan 13, 2016 on Hotels
We didn't actually get to stay. We prepaid our reservation on Hotels.com and the kid behind the counter couldn't find it. He called his manager. I called Hotels.com. Hotels.com called him and confirmed it. They faxed him and confirmed it. They called him again. He called the manager again. But somehow, after thirty minutes in the lobby of a mostly empty hotel at midnight on a weeknight, even after verifying our reservation, he wouldn't give us the room we paid for because he couldn't figure out how to enter it into the computer. After half an hour of my wife and kid waiting in the car, the kid behind the counter said he knew one way he could set up our room, but it"would probably double charge the card." I walked out after that. I can understand having a miscommunication between Hotels.com and the hotel. I can understand having trouble with a computer. I cannot understand how my family was left waiting endlessly in the middle of the night long after everyone involved agreed I'd paid for a room. And I certainly don't understand how me paying twice was ever the best solution.
