A great family vacation spot on the Red Sea

We stayed in a deluxe room with our kids, and the room was fantastic in terms of space and comfort. A baby bath and a crib were provided at no charge. The hotel staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast and dinner buffets offered a very large variety of dishes. The hotel has a nice-size pool that is warmed up in winter, as well as a small Spa. It offers entertainment programs in Hebrew (we did not attend any event, so I can't tell how good they are). Overall the hotel is in good condition, although some of the public spaces are not as clean as one would expect them to be in a 4-5 stars hotel. Nevertheless, with the beach and many restaurants within walking distance, and with the stunning scenery of the mountains surrounding the Red Sea, the Magic Palace is a very fine spot for a family vacation and for romantic getaways.

Great accommodation, confused staff

Had a stay at the hotel and were content with the room however were informed upon check in that check out would be at 2pm. Included in that was a verbal confirmation and a printed paper stating it. We were contacted 4 times after 11 o'clock by attendants but never asked to leave, just asked how our stay was. It was passive aggressive on their end and confusing on ours until they had security show up at our door attempting to remove us by force. very displeased and unimpressed and a small issue they need to work out.

the additional bed for the kids was very uncomfortable. they slept with us eventually. the children play area opened at 10:30 which is realty late. the food was OK the pool was OK

Wonderful hotel

Hotel was clean, modern, and comfortable. The buffet was great with a big selection. I would stay there again.

Service leaves somethiing to be desired

We arrived at the hotel expecting two double beds. They offered a pull out couch for our two kids and charged us extra. We asked to talk to a manager and they told us the manager would call. We asked repeatedly to talk to a manager and they kept saying the manager was busy and would call. We left after two days with no call from the manager and having had a dirty room with no linens.
