We hadden een fijne en grote kamer. Die lag aan de achterzijde gelukkig. Vorige keer was het aan de voorzijde en toen was er veel lawaai van buiten. Nu was er alleen rond 3 u lawaai. Iets van een machine die telkens aan en uit ging. Ontbijt was lekker. Ruime keuze.

Room was a corner room, big enough but very poorly ventilated. Musty smell and dingy in feeling. Could have done with a window to open!

Worth considering
The Crown is a great hotel. Perfectly located for the train station and the city. The staff are friendly. The rooms a little tight but there is enough space. The beds are comfortable and the addition of a kettle and a coffee machine are a bonus. Breakfast is plentiful with a good choice. I have stayed here twice before and will stay again.

Convenient location in the town but not for those traveling with vehicles. Staff in person was friendly but not as much over the phone(I got hung up on) or via their whatsapp messaging service to which I'm still awaiting a response 2 weeks later. Room was comfortable but some improvements and maintenance could be had(Our shower door wouldn't close completely due to the hinges being worn off).

I was disappointed that no breakfast was included in the cost of the room, but it wasn’t a problem as the hotel is situated near numerous places to eat. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

A good night sleep 😴
One night before flying back home. Room was very nice. With coffe machine and water in glass bottles for me that was superb. Bed was comfortable and have an very comfortable pillows. Air conditioning working perfectly especially i like my rooms to be worm at night. Location of hotel excellent 15 min from airport and under 2 in to restaurants etc. I would definitely stay there again.

I felt the rooms were far to small for what they were being portrayed to be. plus, I waited a long time for the water to warm up, only find out that there are 2 handles (some people might say common sense but trust me, there is no explanation on how to use the shower). the lobby had a peculiar smell all night, when I left and re-entered.

Hotel was clean and staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The housecleaning lady even came after us due to that my wife has forgotten her jewelry in the room. Only con was when I called a day prior just to inform that we were arriving late and the one who attended the phone was not very patient with me as my Dutch is not up to par but besides that all is well. Please note I used to work in the hotel business myself.

Enjoyed the stay. Spacious room shared by 3 people with a queen bed and a foldout couch. Toilet with door separate from sinks & shower worked well for us. Close to train station, happening bars, restaurant & shopping, but facing main street so quiet during party hours. Hotel property parking available, but very limited, however underground public 24/7 parking close. Friendly staff.
