Great Location

Location: Public transit lots of restaurants shopping attractions
Conveniently located near one of Barcelona's main plazas, Placa Catalunya. Most of the city's main attractions, highly rated restaurants, and shopping areas are within walking distance or easily accessible via public transit. Very easy to get to from the Airport using the Aerobus. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Wonderful stay.

BEWARE OF THIS HOTEL TAKING ADVANTAGE OF TOURISTS

I want to alert everyone of our horrible experience at this hotel. I booked a room for a 3-night stay through Expedia for 2 adults with the understanding that my 4 year old would be able to share a bed with my husband and I. Upon check-in, hotel staff insisted that it was "law in Barcelona" and their hotel policy that my 4 year old needed her own bed. Hotel staff said I had to upgrade my room to a suite that had both a king sized bed and extra sofa bed for my 4 year old. They said that they could not give me the room that I had prebooked because guests were not allowed to share a bed with a small child. I asked them to contact Expedia to resolve the problem, but they did NOT do so. I asked to speak with a hotel manager, but they did NOT comply with my request. They said I needed to pay 210 euros more for the suite. When I refused to pay, they lowered the price to 150 euros instead. I was forced to pay as they would not release a room to me. This hotel takes advantage of vulnerable tourists by price gouging them and forcing them to upgrade to larger rooms when it is completely unnecessary and unreasonable. As an Expedia gold member, I was already entitled to a free upgrade, but the hotel alleged they did not have other room upgrades available, and the only one was the most expensive suite. I contacted Expedia when I got home, who contacted the hotel directly. The hotel told Expedia that I had a 10 year old child with me, a complete LIE! Beware of booking this hotel!!

Dear guest, we are sorry to read we did not meet your expectations, as our goal is not only to meet them but to exceed them. It seems there was a very important misunderstanding from the beginning, because you would have never been able to make a reservation on Expedia for 2 adults and a child (over 2 years old) in none of our rooms, except the suite (only room with that capacity). You reserved a classic room for 2 adults (no child, as it would have not been possible). But, once you arrived at the hotel, you were 2 adults and a child (over 2 years old). Therefor, as the hotel has no tripple rooms, the receptionist offered you the only possibility available at the hotel with that capacity, the suite. You also mention a free upgrade because you are an Expedia gold member, but that upgrade is always upon availability. As we pointed out, the only room available with a triple capacity is the suite. For your information, the upgrades from a classic room (the cheapest and smallest) to the suite (the most expensive and biggest) would have been 4 categories, as we have double standard, superior with balcony, superior with terrace and suite. So you ended up with a special discount on the suite's price and you did not pay for the third person, as your child is over 2 years old and her stay would have not been free if you had reserved the suite from the beginning. Please, we really hope you understand that you had a 2 adult reservation in the smallest and cheapest room, you arrived at the hotel beeing 3, as we have no tripple roooms, we offered you the suite at a lower price and without paying for the third person. In the future, we would recommend you always make the reservation for your child officially, as you may find the same problems in other hotels. Best regards.

Great Stay In Barcelona, Breakfast is great, the location is perfect less than 5 minutes to La Rambla, the people are incredibly friendly, easy access to train lines. Overall perfect place to stay in Barcelona.

Lovely atmosphere, staff and excellent rooms. Very tidy, very clean, spacious and fully functioning. Literally couldn't ask for a better location as it is in the centre of Barcelona and close to everything. Absolute pleasant stay, would definitely stay there again if traveling to Barcelona and would highly recommend to friends.

Great location, clean, friendly. Awesome rooftop bar located on the roof with great sangria and small view of the streets!

Nice hotel in a very great area, accessible to major attractions and cafes/bars. Room was small, but very updated and clean. Great perks such as nespresso coffee in the room and cava in the lobby upon check in. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Barcelona city break

Lovely hotel in great location to the centre of Barcelona for metro, hop on hop off tour buses, restaurants and shopping. A warm welcome with a glass of fizz. Nice clean room with quality furnishings. Just right to come back to after a hot day in the city.
