Very Nice Hotel
Very nice hotel in nice walkable area close To many attractions. Don't know about breakfast as we didn't try it. Later if it is Summer you might want to spend a few days on the beach at a different location

Great Location, Very Good Hotel, but not 5*
First point to make...it just doesn't look like or feel like 5* hotel. Hence felt a let down. However it doesn't mean the hotel is bad. It's very good indeed, just missing expected facilities like a proper pool. Pool is essentially a large jacuzzi. Location of the hotel is brilliant though, it is great for walk in the city. Great restaurants around, good bars and clubs too. Very good staff too. Very friendly. I got a free upgrade too, though my friend didn't. Rooms are fine too Greatest let down, infact scarily too is the restaurant. They have a good looking tasting menu, but we're told that we needed to ask for it in advance of few hours. Was never mentioned before, pretty strange too. Next we ordered from the dinner menu. Starters were fine. Main course was dangerously poor. Ordered lamb but it was with hair and it seemed like the server knew it. He took it away immediately, it really annoyed me that I was served food that was known to be bad. I was offered duck as a replacement. That was even worse, it came grossly undercooked, it was rwa and red inside and with blood oozing out. So, recommend not to try the restaurant, if you want to stay safe. Many good restaurants in walkable distance anyway.

The hotel was conveniently located 5 minutes walk from a metro station. Great looking building, staff all friendly and helpful. Breakfast fantastic with lots of hot and cold options and even a cook to order menu. An unexpected bonus was a free hour per day in the spa area to use the sauna and steam room.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Hotel Hospes Palau De La Mar. From the moment we walked through its stunning doors, we knew our stay would be an extraordinary one, and it was! Front desk staff members were outstanding, so kind and helpful. The room was gorgeous, peaceful, and quiet! High praise for the housekeeping team. We didn’t opt for breakfast every morning at the hotel but did enjoy it on an ad hoc basis. It was delicious, with a vast selection of beautiful foods, set in the hotel’s wonderful Ampar restaurant. The spa/gym facilities were perfect! The pool room downstairs hosts a warm and therapeutic compact pool with brilliant water jets, as well as a steam room and sauna. My children were also allowed to enjoy the pool, which was a real bonus. The area is just stunning! The metro station Alameda is located just within the Turia Gardens park, right near the hotel. You’re also within walking distance of the beautiful Colon market where coffees, Orxata, and pastries await! There are so many fabulous restaurants and cafes around. As far as location goes, it’s heaven and you’re really spoiled for choice. My two kids (8 and 12) and I walked everywhere, using the Turia gardens as our most traveled pathway. The hotel’s location made exploring this glorious city so easy and such a joy! We had an utterly brilliant time!

A lovely hotel, the building is very beautiful. Very comfy bed, mattress excellent but for a five star hotel pillows could be better. Great shower, enough towels and toiletries and free mineral water and turn down chocolates. It’s in a nice part of town and easily walkable to the Centre/ sites. But it is on a busy road so make sure you have ear plugs. Spa was enjoyable and we also booked massages that were great (although pricey). This was our second stay in a Hospes hotel and we were a little disappointed as we had had such an amazing time in their Alicante hotel. We didn’t expect to only get one hour in the spa (in Alicante we could use it endlessly) and staff weren’t as friendly - we had to ask about our complimentary bottle of wine and remind them to take the €20 euros off our massages (this was all taken care of in Alicante). We also hadn’t booked breakfast and it wasn’t offered to us when we arrived (we would have changed our minds and had it in the hotel - as it was we decided to go out every day instead) We’d still try their other hotels though.

We got a suite that faced the "courtyard" which is overlooked by older residential buildings that just didn't give you the 5 star feel. The room was large but and nice enough but again just didn't feel luxurious. Just overall very disappointing for the price they charged.

Fantastic hotel
We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they were absolutely wonderful. We stayed in the junior suite and it was a big space with great decor. The bath was a delight to use. The location was perfect as they had many restaurants and bars and not too far from the main attractions. The hotel restaurant food was excellent too. We would definitely like to stay again.

The staff are very helpful, friendly and always have a smile on their faces especially Chiara who helped us on several occasions. The hotel is well situated for access to the Turia which is lovely to walk in as well as the rest of Valencia. The breakfast is excellent, varied, plentiful and the majority of the food is covered. In fact there were high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the hotel. We were also lucky enough to be upgraded (thank you very much for this, it was much appreciated) Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel or to return

Fantastic and a luxury hotel
It was amazing, after day trips..the Spa was useful to take away the aches..:) excellent service and very clean. It also has a peaceful patio garden where you can enjoy having a drink. The only drawback for us was that our room was facing the patio where people sit or pass by and we couldn't draw back our curtains, so we couldn't see the daylight.

This was a gem of an hotel. Located in a tree lined Avenue but just steps from the main shopping streets and historic centre. We truly enjoyed the simple spa within the hotel and the restaurant and lounge area were superb. If passing through Valencia give this place a try!

Lovely hotel in a great location
We arrived two hours before our check in time and our room was already ready for us. We were also offered a complimentary drink after we had unpacked in the courtyard. Very friendly staff and superb location as you can walk everywhere, although we did take the metro to the beach one day.
