One Night Stay - Cruiser

Pros: Staff were professional most helpful
Location: Restaurants, On/Off Touring Bus, Tourists,
Needed a one night stop over pending next day cruise. Was not sure what to expect but suited our purposes ideally. The hotel is situated mid-way to the Port. We were there for one day and were able to view the City using the On/Off Tour Bus. Boarding point was close by. The staff were more than helpful, The room was clean and comfortable. Short taxi ride to the Port. I would recommend this Hotel for people visiting the City or need a place for a short layover.

Rooms are ok but there's no safe in the room. The safe are located at the reception. Some staff speak english and some staff do not which made calling for general enquires difficult. Overall nice peace and quite. Good shops and food nearby

We had an amazing time! Hotel is centrally located and very close to the metro. Overall, it was fantastic!

The elections power went down in the middle of the night! For 2h ! No different room was available .

Dear Mr. Vered, Answering your feedback after your stay in our hotel we want to apologize again for the fall of the electrical system. We inform you again that it was a problem outside the hotel (general drop in the street) which unfortunately affected our service for a total of 2 hours approximately (from 4 to 6 o'clock in the morning). We understand that it may be a problem for people who have to check out very early in the morning but, in your particular case, we do not understand it since your departure from the hotel was late, almost noon. Anyway, we regret again what happened and hope that the compensation (which was already made after talking and complaining to our manager) was enough to solve the inconvenience caused. As you said no different room was available, be sure that we always try to change rooms in case the client requests us, but it is not always possible to offer the option due to lack of rooms availability. Whatever (and leaving aside the electric drop), we do not understand why the total score of the hotel is so low since you do not value the services of the hotel (facilities, bed, cleaning, staff ...) only an outside problem that affected, irremediably on our part, one night of your stay. Great Hotel and great Staff

Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is in a good location. Rooms were very clean and comforable.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: Short walk from Placa Espanya where the Aerobus stops and the Open top bus tour stops. Las Arenas nearby with shops and restaurants.
We travelled to the hotel on the Aerobus, the hotel is short walk from the Placa Espanya stop. We arrived a couple of hours earlier than the check in time and was hoping to leave our bags and check in later. Our room was already available and we were checked in early. The gentleman who checked us in was very polite and friendly. He gave us a map of Barcelona and showed us how to get to the main attractions from the hotel. Our room was very clean and comfortable and was as shown on all the websites I had seen it on. The bottled water in the fridge was very welcome after travelling and was replenished every day after that. We purchased tickets from the hotel reception for the open top bus tour. Again the same gentleman dealt with us and was very helpful and explained everything clearly to us. There were a good selection of restaurants and bars nearby to the hotel which we enjoyed too.

Quite convenience to Metro/Bus stations, near monument and shopping centres. Good food and comfort place for having breakfast.

Rude receptionist and unfair treatment

The receptionist is rude and unprofessional. She was happily chatting and laughing to her other colleague while checking us in. And we were rejected for early check in but the other guests after us have rooms to check into. We saw this while waiting for them to keep our luggage. The bathroom is very small. The bath tub and the toilet bowl is so close together. And it's not easy to step in for a shower as half the bath tub entrance is blocked by a glass panel and the other half is blocked by the toilet bowl!!! What is the designer of the bathroom thinking???

We really cannot understand your comments to the receptionist rude and unprofessional since we always have very good comments about our employees. We are sure that our receptionists all times try to show their best face and they would never disrespect you. Concerning the check-in, we can assure you that if we did not give you the room upon your arrival (and if to other people) it is because the type of room you booked was not yet available for early check-in. We always assign the rooms by strict order of arrivals. Obviously, if you book a room type that is not yet available we cannot give you check-in (being this, if a person with another type of room appears we will give them the check-in before you if the room of this second person is available). As for your comments about the size of the room and bathroom, before making the reservation you can see the exact size information of the room and real photos.
