This is a clean, standard hotel that is more than appropriate for a short stay. Noise between rooms and floors is a bit much for longer stays. Otherwise the staff was helpful and room was clean and functional.

this hotel is just 2mins from station and metro and 5 mins from port and Born. The staff are friendly.It’s a good base but not luxurious There’s air con but it’s noisy and the only mirror is in the bathroom. We don’t have breakfast there but only 3€ for coffee and croissants at the amazing station cafe next door. We have stayed 5 times now so that says it all !

The room was clean with bed sheets clean and fresh.
There was no kettle for hot water. A/C control was not working! Informed staff, nothing was done.

The hotel is in a good location in close walk to many landmarks. The small street it is located at looks unsafe at night especially hotel doesn't have outside lights but I haven't had problems. The room was clean, but there was a weird smell on my floor and in my room. There was no problem with air condition and hot water. The young male receptionist doesn't care to greet or help.
I really enjoyed my stay at the Sta Marta. It’s nicely located between the Gothic quarter and Barceloneta, making most sites of interest easily walkable but also close to train and metro for those that want to go further afield. It may be “only” a 2star hotel but it really doesn’t feel like one! The hotel rooms are modern and clean. The entire hotel is spotless and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I will definitely return next trip here. PS I chose to stay here because of the rave reviews and they actually are true! The Santa Marta is a jewel.
Really nice, clean small hidden gem right next to main transportation hub. Don’t let the 2star rating make you think this is a bad hotel because that is not the truth. If you need a hotel to sleep and wash in before you see the city then this is for you.

Great location and friendly workers. But the bed for a couple move a lot. Wasn’t connect at all and some ants around.
The reservation was misleading, as we arrived to the property with all our luggage and having parked only to be directed to an alternate property 12 minutes walk away. Call/email for clearer check in instructions prior to arrival. The new hotel was nice and in the Gothic Quarter. It was clean and had AC, nice amenities. The front desk staff were outstanding with help regarding pre-travel covid testing.
I paid to stay on this hotel for a 7days a week. At day 2 I had to leave due to an emergency. At check out the clerk told me, the hotel can't give me a refund I paid Expedia.
I need to cantact expedia for a refund. The hotel clerk gave me a letter explaining I only stayed there for 2 days need to be refunded by expedia.
I contact Expedia, they told me Hotel decline my refund they collected the money of my full stay.
I contact the hotel and they told me they can't give me a refund because I paid Expedia.
Worst Experience Ever!!
Typical sized room by European standards. Breakfast was good and the staff was friendly and helpful. Location is really great and centrally located by harbor, beaches, metro, train station, and center city. Overall a very enjoyable stay.
We had a great stay in Barcelona, the hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was perfect and fresh. Only thing that was a bummer was at night if you wanted the window open it was very loud and if the window was not open the room was hot. Overall we had a great stay

It’s in a great location accessible to the beach 5 min away, the La Gagrada is 35 min walk and so much more. It’s in a wonderful neighborhood. The rooms are clean and very modern.
