Pros: Clean room, good maid service, convenient location, nice sized with big bathroom.
Cons: 1. Information card about tv operation. The only notice I saw was a card saying please don't steal items from the room. 2. Key cards
Location: San Diego, USS Constitution, Air &Space Museum.
Hotel staff was great. Room was clean. Two things anoyed me. First, the TV required two remotes. There were not any written instructions on how they worked. A simple note with instructions to reset the tv input if you used the wrong one. This would have saved a trip by the maintenance staff. Additionaly, The DirectTv remote required a long wire with a sensor on the end to be placed "just right" for the remote to work. My big issue was door key cards. Each night (four nights) when I returned the key card would not open the door. I was given all the excuses, was it near a credit card, cell phone etc. I have credit cards. I have a cell phone, iPad and a camera with a battery. I think that makes me an average traveler. I was never told how far away I was supposed to keep the card nor was I given any thiing to shield it. I understand from research that there are diferent types of card encoding systems, as in most other things, more reliable is more expensive. For me it boiled down to one issue, if it is not reliable in the real world, if I can't just shove it in a pocket without worrying what else is in there, then it is a failure belonging to Roadway Inn, not me. The staff was great. They re-keyed the card without any hassle. I have been staying in hotels with key cards as long as they have been in use and have never had this issue before. Maybe I was supposed to put the card in my shoe.

never again !!!!

When I got there about noon it's seem very legit place to stay then I get my room o was like wow this room looked ok and then I seen two big stains on floor , bloood on side of bed then a used dirty towel behind bed then bed bug on top of bed crawling in sheets very disgusting. So web ere told we would get reimburst for the staty and the we get turned away. Itsbwas uorrible epierence to deal with and no compassion or integrity whatsoever and if this is the way I he company works all around I will refuse to stay at a roadway inn and make sure I spread the word thank you for listening and giving me the opportunity to speak my mind

Never again

Cons: Everything
Location: You have the freeway on along one side of the building and the metro rail along the other side. So there ya go.
This place is sketchy with less than respectable people constantly walking around the parking lot. I didn't see any security the first night (Fri) but there was a guard there on Sat night. Water pressure in the shower was horrible with water temperature randomly shifting on you. Place was dusty. Found smoke alarm busted and on the bed upon entering the room, broken lamps, broken curtains which don't close completely so no privacy. Come Sunday morning as I 'm checking out, the elevator stunk with fast food wrappers and other random trash thrown inside the car. Never again will I stay here.

Right off the freeway

We opened the door to a filthy room with a smoke alarm that needed a battery. That means this hotel doesn't change the batteries on it alarms on a regular basis. That should be hotel ownership priority #1. I wouldn't stay in this place again if they paid me.
