Very good experience, since arrival to check-out. Very good bedroom, excellent breakfast, nice bar and restaurant. And very well located.

Staff should be some more faster, reception and bar specially. Room carpet should be changed. Everything else perfect!

Cozy & Classic Hotel

Good location. Nice Biblioteque & Bar. Very good restaurant. Great staff. Small shower. TV didn't work properly. Overall experience: Very good.

Not a five star

The Sofitel lobby, bar, and restaurant are all five star but surprisingly the rooms are not even close. The hallways and rooms are 3.5 star at best. Hallways are beat up and dirty. Rooms are very tired and in need of updating. There is an old musty smell that permeates the room, most likely coming from the old drapes, upholstered furniture, and stained carpet. I was very disappointed. While the location is great, there are many other hotels in the area from which to choose.

Great Stay

Location: This area and Recolleta neighborhood safe and nice. Unfortunately, in other areas, petty criminals preying heavily on tourists. We were all accosted.
Very nice hotel in a very good neighborhood. The only reason for the Pleasing review of hotel condition was the need for cleaning of room carpetting. This was noticed by all in our party regarding rooms. Otherwise, what a great place with excellent staff. We enjoyed the Biblioteca bar very much for coffee, cocktails, and light fare. Concierage, Front Desk, Bellmen and Room Attendants also top-notch.

Great Hotel Well Situated With European Flair

Cons: Can't think of anything.
Location: Pacifico Mall about a 10 minute walk and Puerto Madero a brisk 30 minutes.
Great location on quiet residential street walking distance to park, some shops, restaurants. Lovely room and common areas done in an elegant European style while still providing modern conveniences including great internet. Hugely helpful and firendly staff. Nice bar. Excellent included breakfast although didn't get to otherwise eat at the restaurant (menu was interesting). Overall couldn't ask for anything better at the price which we found very reasonable for this class of hotel. Stayed 3 nights before a cruise.
