Nice hotel in the heart of the city

Lovely hotel, clean, nice staff, very good free breakfast. The hotel is not brand new, so perhaps that is why is not getting more stars? The bathroom fixtures were a little "tired", but everything was clean and attended to, and the common spaces were very up to date. I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again.

be aware of thief and near stay in this hotel

The hotel is located in main area of Buenos Aires; there are lot of rogues and thief near the street; they use spray to steal and it is very dangerous; the hotel management never informed and it is not acceptable as guests staying in the hotel should be warned about the locality and safety.

Adequate hotel for price

The hotel is centrally located and an easy walk to everything. Staff was very professional and helpful. Breakfast was a good start for the day. There was some construction going on in the building which I expect will be completed soon. The elevator does not go to all floors so there is some carrying upstairs of luggage if that would bother you.

Disappointing

Pros: Nice host, good location.
Location: Lots of shops.
1. No English speakers. 2. Cracked, old fixtures and plumbing 3. Very old hotel.

Close to everything

The outside and lobby is goodbut when you walk into the rooms it's like walking into the rundown motel and that's the walls are chipping the beds are hideous toilets are old and the carpet in room smells. The price that is charge when booked online goes up when I arrived at the hotel before the check in time, even if it's specified on your reservation that you will arrive early they will charge you almost triple original price.this place has a good location but horrible horrible rooms. Reallydon't trust reviews that says this place is okay the rooms are crap everything is falling apart in there. A crack house probably is better looking inside than this hotel.

The hotel is through a process of renewing the room, they all have wood floors now and we are reforming the toilets too. Regarding the price, you should know that in argentina we have a V.A.T of the 21% that it is not included in the reservation. Finally, the hotel does not make extra charges for early check in. Not really a 3star hotel by american standard

We stayed here just for 1 night between flight connections. Hotel Did not really live upto 3 star rating. AC wasnt on before we entered the room and it was too hot. Also, AC was quite small so took sometime to get to survivable temparature. room was reasonably big.

Great service, convenient location and low price.

The staff has been extremely friendly, helpful and courteous. Could not have had a better experience in regard to service. The neighborhood (downtown) is convenient but of course not as charming as Recoleta or Palermo. The hotel condition is fair, and it is undergoing repairs (noise starts at 9AM). Overall a very good experience. PS Portuguese speakers will rejoice, as the staff are all eager to speak Portuguese to those who speak it.

great location and friendly staff

Good hotel although our room was not like the pictures. We would have liked to stay longer but the price increased 4X overnight on what we had been paying for the same room.

Decent

Staff are friendly and helpful. Great location. Breakfast is good. Checkout 10am a little early for my tastes though. Rooms only get cleaned if you ask reception, we had the please clean tag on our door for days and nothing happened.
