Not Maintained

Pros: Leaving!
Cons: The maintenance of the hotel room amenities.
Coffee maker did not function. TV was not connected to cable provider. Stayed 2 nights. After first night requested that TV be connected to cable provider. Upon return the second day; at 9PM, the TV was still not connected to the cable provider. Overall the service was extremely poor. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy!

My stay at Super 8 in El Dorado Kansas was nice. The reception area was pleasant and the breakfast area was nice. The room was nice as were the staff. I will be looking to stay there again.

It's OK

Pros: Close to the college we were attending for a sporting event.
Cons: Employees.
Bed was hard. Water pressure horrible. Non smoking room smelt of smoke. Guy at front desk in the morning just sat there on his phone. Did not refill milk or coffee during breakfast. It will not be a hotel I return to.

Stay somewhere else!

The front desk agent Chris was awful. He was more concerned with his video games than ACTUALLY helping guests. He had a bad attitude and made us feel as though we were inconveniencing him when we asked for more towels (there were 2 large towels for a family of 4). Before he gave us more, we had to go back to the room, collect our towels and bring them back to the front desk for him. Ran out of breakfast at 8 am on Saturday morning. The bathroom ceiling looked as though it would collapse. Rolled up old carpet found in hallways. And the manager did not seem to care about any complaints I had. I am not one to usually complain, but I worked in the hotel industry for some time & this was worth reviewing & warning others about for sure. I understand it's not the Ritz, but some level of customer service would have been really great.

Was ok. Being updated slowly for an older hotel. Carpets should be next and bath fixtures.
