This is really where you can get away from it all.
This has to be the most secluded and away from it all hotel in the whole Canary Islands! It was like stepping back in time staying here, very well maintained but with all the original character. It was a shame the pool was out of use but this was out of their control. Breakfast is very good quality, staff are friendly and location is perfect.

Great stay
We had a lovely stay at the Parador. Check in 12 and check out 12 so we made the most of our time there. Fantastic breakfast bugfet.

Complete Getaway
The hotel is in a perfect location if you just want to “stay and hideaway”. Apart from a bar/restaurant about 500m along the road there is nothing else around. The restaurant is very reasonable and offers a good menu. The situation of the hotel means you have to drive back along the coastal road to go anywhere on the island. Staff at the hotel are very friendly but the hotel could do with some renovation. Pool too cold to use during our stay and sadly jacuzzi was out of order.

Dramatic location on an unspoilt Canary island.
Excellent parador in a wonderful location. Very helpful staff allowed us to change to a balcony room. Lovely swimming pool and good table-tennis facilities. A bit remote but shops and restaurants accessible by car.

What a location!
This hotel is beautifully located and has a spectacular view on the ocean. You can hear the waves crashing from your room if you are on the oceanside. It’s in need some some upkeep and does feel dated, but it’s a rustic untouched island to begin with so if you are looking for state of the art bells and whistles El Hierro isn’t for you to begin with. Staff lovely & we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights here. WiFi weak but that was our experience elsewhere except at airports in the Canaries.

Spectacular views. Close to port.
This is probably the best hotel on the island. The views were spectacular in the sea view rooms.. HOWEVER, there is nothing in the surrounding area so you are restricted to the dining experience in the hotel unless you want to drive or take a taxi and the hotel dining experience was not great.

Hotel is beautiful and the staffers amazing!
I have long been a fan of the paraders throughout the canaries islands. I feel they are relatively comfortable and up to date despite the old world charm. I feel like a traveler back in the early 1900s yet I get to use Wifi! The staff is amazing no matter which one you stay at. My family is from La Palma (sister island) and I still sometimes stay at that parador because of the comfort and service

Nice and quiet
Nice hotel with quiet guests and atmosphere in a secluded corner of the island. Ideal for relaxing. The restaurant is not spectacular but the service is good. Very pleasant stay at the sound of the waves.

The hotel is located 15 km from the port and good to reach by car even in the evening/ night. It is located very close to the sea and you can hear the waves - it is great!! It is very proper and the staff very very friendly! The Restaurant and the bar are also very good and to recommend! Thank you very much for the great stay in the hotel!!

Muy recomendable
La ubicación es impresionante. Tanto la habitación (con vistas al mar) como la terraza del hotel y la piscina tienen unas vistas maravillosas. El personal súper amable y la comida muy rica! Pasamos allí una semana y salimos encantados y muy relajados. La única “pega”, por poner alguna, es que algunas instalaciones se ven algo anticuadas.

Para una noche este bien
Es un poco antiguo aunque está bien cuidado, el servicio es excelente pero el wiffi, (que es un servicio), es muy flojo. Está perdido en medio de la nada así que llevense provisiones aunque el consumo no es caro

El parador se encuentra a 20 minutos en coche desde el puerto. La limpieza es impecable, en todas las zonas y habitaciones. Hay gel hidroalcoholico en la habitación y las zonas comunes. Es muy agradable, sobre todo las habitaciones con vistas al mar. El personal, encantador. Hay jacuzzi y piscina de agua salada. En todas las zonas comunes hay aforo limitado y se cuidan las distancias. En el desayuno hay unas pinzas individuales de bambú. Hay que tener en cuenta que no hay ascensor, por lo que si se tienen problemas de movilidad, solicitad una habitación en la planta baja.

Fantastisches und ruhiges Hotel direkt am Meer
Das Hotel liegt in fantastischer Alleinlage am Atlantik. Ruhe und Entspannung ist dort garantiert. Die Meerblickzimmer sind groß und haben einen großen Balkon wo man wunderschön lesen, entspannen oder frühstücken kann. Man sollte unbedingt mindestens ein Mal den Wecker stellen und auf dem Balkon den Sonnenaufgang erleben! Die Poolanlage ist sehr gepflegt und meistens ist man da für sich fast alleine. Es gibt auch einen Whirlpool, Fitness, Sauna und Dampfbad. Das ganze Hotel ist aus den 70er Jahren aber es ist alles sehr sauber und gepflegt behalten und mich überhaupt nicht gestört. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, spricht aber fast ausschließlich Spanisch. Die Gastronomie ist sehr lecker und die Portionen groß, jedoch es mangelt an Abwechslung bei den vegetarischen Gerichten. Trotz Corona-Lage haben wir uns immer sehr wohl und sicher gefühlt. ACHTUNG: Wer auch die Insel entdecken will soll sich umbedingt ein Auto mieten und die Fahrzeiten nicht unterschätzen (mind. 30 Minuten)! ...dafür gibt es genügend Parkplätze.

Beste Wahl auf El Hierro
Ruhig an einer Bucht gelegen. Hinter dem Hotel hört die Strasse auf. Sehr guter Service und sehr schnelles WLAN. Ausreichend Parkplätze vorm Haus. Isgesamt ein Top-Hotel.

TRANQUILIDAD Y EXCELENTE SERVICIO
Hubo alguna carencia en cuanto a reposición de consumibles como toallas jaboncillos y papel higiénico, totalmente asumible por nuestra parte. El resto estuvo todo “de 10” y la atención del personal “de 11”. Aunque un poco apartado de todo lo visitable (a unos 30 minutos) eso lo compensa con la tranquilidad para el descanso nocturno y la exclusividad de su ubicación.

Läge och omgivning
Fint läge nära havet med fina omgivningar Trevlig personal och bra service. Nöjd med rummet och härligt att höra vågornas brus. Dock ligger det avsides om man upptäcka och utforska mera av denna underbara ö så en bil är nödvändig annars kan man lätt känna sig isolerad.

Ihana rauhallinen perinteinen Parador. Vanhan ajan glamouria. Ainoa melu on meren pauhu ja lattia narina. Henkilökunta erittäin ystävällistä, kielitaito ei kaikilla kovin korkealla. Erinomainen ravintola, mikä on hyvä koska mitään muuta ei läheltä löydy. Aamiainenkin erinomainen.

Sul mare, con alle spalle una colata lavica.
I paradores spagnoli sono una sicurezza. La posizione è eccezionale in una baia scenografica, su una spiaggia di sassi con onde che si frangono. Bella piscina, centro spa migliorabile, con saune separate per sesso, centro fitness. La nostra camera, la piu economica, dava sul parcheggio, quelle vista mare sono un.altra cosa. Personale gentile, ottima prima colazione. Esposto ad est con la montagna alle spalle, per usare la piscina meglio non attardarsi.
