Great small hotel, good value, in great area. Quiet room with great features and breakfast. Lovely to be able to open window/ door for fresh air, but double glazed for quietness. Staff kindly made me black tea whenever I needed it!

Great location and great staff

Can’t fault this hotel or our experience here. The staff were really lovely and helpful whenever we needed. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. The spot was right in the middle of El Poblado which is the perfect area to stay for restaurants, bars, hotels etc. would stay again

Location

Posted Oct 18, 2017
Pros: Location
Cons: Add a elevator.
Location: Stores and restaurants all within walking distance. Safe area.
This was a clean and great location hotel with a balcony. Room was big with double glass doors to keep out road traffic. No elevator and only stairs. Staff very friendly. Would stay here again.

Great hotel, great hospitibal service

Posted Aug 23, 2017
This hotel is in the middle of all the touristy action so if that's not what you're looking for, look elsewhere. What really made my 3 night stay, we're the very sweet ladies that worked the front desk. Went above and beyond anytime we asked for anything (set up our paragliding trip, lent me an umbrella, called my taxi, gave me directions and suggestions, etc) .The hotel is clean and modern, the hot water was an added bonus and the double paned doors helped block out the outside bar noise, I slept soundless.

Terrible place. Stay away

Posted Feb 28, 2017
They entered my room when I left. When told both the cleaner and front desk not to enter. They also charged a guest I had for 30 min. Lying and said they said 1hr22min. They have a free charge of 1 hr. Stay away and be careful.

Nice hotel in Poblado

Posted Feb 10, 2017
Nice hotel, friendly staff, very clean, modern and comfortable rooms. However, the 6th floor was under construction during our stay (and will be until end of Feb or Mar 2017). Thus, we were not able to use the rooftop terrace, which would've been nice to have a drink and unwind after a day of sightseeing. There are no other common area in which to relax. The dining area wasn't suitable for that. Besides the construction rudely waking us up at 7:30am on our first day and a loud French family across the hall, the hotel is quiet. On check in, we asked to be put on a high floor in a quiet room facing the rear instead of the street, and were put in room 502. They did not tell us about the construction immediately above. The next day we asked to be moved to the 4th floor, also in the rear (room 401), to avoid the immediate noise from the 6th floor and the street noise. We were happy with this new room and location, although 502 was good too, were it not for the construction. The hotel staff informed us that construction only starts at 9am but it definitely started before that (7:30am) on 2 of the 4 days we were there. It carried on throughout the day but we were out for most of the day so it didn't matter. The staff doesn't speak English so we had to use Google Translate, but some things were lost in translation. The included breakfast was decent--- eggs, arepa or toast, some fruits, cereal and yogurt. Some vegetables, like cucumbers and tomatoes, would have been better.

More for your buck staying somewhere else

Posted Sep 19, 2016
Pros: King size bed
Cons: Staff and customer service.
Terrible experience for the following reasons. My card was charged without my authorization. I was given top floor even with a newborn. They have no elevators. The staff was charging me when my wife asked them to use their blender to make my daughter some juice. Again, she is less than a year old. Check out is at 12, and I asked if we can stay 30 minutes more because my daughter fell asleep and my taxi was arriving at 12:30, and I was told no unless I paid another night. During breakfast they gave me a bad tangerine juice that made me go #2 real quick. I was also given a different room than was shown on expedia. The lady at the desk by the name of Vanessa Gaviria is the one that made most of my stay undesirable. Once I made my check in I was also charged more than it said on expedia (insurance charges), I didn't read the fine print. I use to live in Poblado and I can surely tell you that for 260k COP you can definitely get more for your money than the IN HOUSE. I recommend Airbnb, or one of the big hotels.
