The Sea View Motel

8/10 Good

"My family and I stayed at your motel from Thursday, June 25 through Tuesday, June 30. We had to leave early due to a family emergency. We enjoyed the room and the pool. However, there were guests drinking (huge bottle of whiskey that was clearly visible) alcohol at the pool and playing loud music with profanity. There was also a few guests smoking by the pool (vaping) and smoking in front of their rooms (marijuana). This was quite disappointing as we had a teenager with us. Maria and Daniel were extremely polite, helpful and a delight to engage with. They made our stay super lovely!! Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns. "Everything was clean (although the carpets could use a deep cleaning). The staff were very friendly (although one gave us wrong information about the cancellation policy, but it didn't matter in the end, for we were happy to stay on). I like the lounge. The TV was a little confusing, but we figured it out (the available channels are spread out, but if you go the Guide, you can easily see which are available). Most of all, we loved the fact we could open the windows! (We love fresh air!) I also so much enjoyed the pool, which is lit up so beautifully with sunlight in the mornings."

"The staff member at check in was very friendly and made the check-in process fun. The breakfast options included a few things I did not expect, like a packaged breakfast sandwich if you did not prefer the scrambled eggs, sausage, or Belgium waffles. We had an issue with our shower (could have been our fault) but the maintenance staff member was up quickly and had the part replaced quickly. That was impressive, My only ding was the elevators were a bit slow. (That's just a nitpick). Our room was spotless. I would definitely stay here again."

"The room was clean and convenient to Portsmouth. It was located on a very busy highway and the noise was noticeable. We also had a minor issue with the water that resolved quickly. The staff was helpful and polite. The stay itself was good overall."

Wells-Ogunquit Resort Motel & Cottages

"The room was very nice, clean well presented, everything worked as it should, my only complaint is not against the place we were its the loudness of kids being rude banging on stuff running up n down stairs at 10:30 at night which was very loud its the parents not showing respect for others next to them the buffet was ehh grab n go style, otherwise great location to wells beach and Marginal Way!"
