Decent Spot

Cons: The room felt a bit dated. The phone in the bathroom was an amusing throwback.
Great location near the train station. A bit of a hike to walk to the old town and tour bus meeting point. Helpful front desk staff.

One of the best mattress I've ever slept

One of the best mattress I've ever slept in, however the gym had only bicycles, no weight, it could have them also. The executive room is in reality smaller than in the pictures on Expedia and we found out the rooftop restaurant was only accessible only to vip, we had the impression it was open to all.

Great hotel close to train station

Loved the proximity to the train station, great shopping and 12 min walk from Sound of Music site (Mirabell).

Nice hotel very disorganized

This is a nice place They had a fire alarm go off and fire trucks appear and people vacating for no reason Things were missing in my room like bottle openers but it was okay overall. I would recommend it.

Not so good hotel

We were at the hotel for one night on our trip to Eastern Europe. We stayed 6-7 properties during our trip and this was the one we do not want to remember. It might be a good business hotel catering to business travelers, it was definitely not for those on family vacation. The reception was adequately staffed and overall the responses were not very helpful. The hotel lobby was big but to find a restroom you had to go down a floor which was also closed during the night. The room was just okay, nothing what you would expect from 4-5 star hotel.

Pros: They could accommodate a family of 4 in one room.
Cons: Cleanliness, A/C system.
Location: Easy off and on highway.
Room was humid to the point of the carpet being damp. Also hot. Not terribly dirty, but many little things such as the body of a dead bee lying on the floor showed that the room clearly had not been vacuumed. The pool was filthy with trash (dental floss!) floating and mildew lining edges. We were only there for one night - if it had been longer would have looked into cancelling and rebooking elsewhere.

AC not working & hotel staff doesn't help you

Self serving with my luggage and fixing the AC !! Even cleaning the room was difficult for them ! Slow service & the food is terrible!

Mechanical didn't work - a/c in one of the rooms didn't work and after request to fix and being gone for entire day, not a word. Air conditioning still didn't work and no explanation nor offer to change rooms.

Some small problems

The hotel was ok. Good: big room Bad: 1. Shower curtain was too short or was placed too high that all shower water came out of bathtub area 2. Internet speed was fast, however, once you are outside of the hotel and comes back to hotel Internet does not work, but the hotel reset that every morning 6 am, so careful. I brough the issue to hotel staff and they do not know.
