“The property was extremely clean. The rooms were smaller than what we thought they would be from the pictures…but they were extremely clean. We didn’t realize this was a basement apartment…but it was extremely clean. We had an event in Jersey City and this property was very convenient. Our group of three composed of two different families and the two bedroom was just what was needed. Off street parking gave us one less thing to worry about. There is a mall in close proximity to the property……

“This place had great size rooms and comfy beds. The place looked just like the picture and was a nice place for my stay. We did cook dinner and had problems with the oven staying on and the fridge but other that that it was a good stay. ”

“The host was incredibly communicative and the property had everything I needed. I let them know I was traveling with a dog and they even provided dog bowls and treats. The apartment is spacious and well kept. The location was great! A park is directly in front of the townhouse, a lot of corner stores and restaurants close by, and the bus stops/train station were within a 15 minute walk. Loud music was playing Saturday night, but not too late. Other than that, the neighborhood was pretty quiet.……

“Do not rent this unit. The pictures of the inside of the unit are mostly accurate, though there is no closet or drawer space. The unit wasn't cleaned very well with dirty counters, an unclean refrigerator, stained towels, and no body wash. The big issue is that the outside images are wildly deceptive and nothing pictured is anywhere near the apartment building. The MetLife Center is 5 mi away and New York City is a 40 minute train ride. This apartment is in a bad, unsafe neighborhood with……

“TERRIBLE! We did not stay for even one night! There was no door on one of the rooms, the beds were very flimsy with stains all over the mattresses, the floors and walls were completely covered in dust & dirt, so many broken things in the bathrooms and around the house, many holes in the walls. It was just a terrible experience altogether. 0/10!! On top of this, he made a sign a super super specific contract, prior to our stay, so we could not receive any compensation back.”
