All I need one spot

We had a great time with our friends. Dinner, drinks, shopping, spa and our room all under one roof.

Hotel is OK but smoky slightly dirty staff as a little rude to a casino that's great that you would expect out of the normal

Nice hotel, disappointing service

The rooms were very nice, comfortable, and clean. The hotel itself was very impressive, very well maintained and gave an chic experience while we were there. The shops area was very nice. However, the access to the pool was very dated and dingy. The elevator felt like it really needed service, the paint and finish was chipped and rusted. The pool was very nice but getting there felt a little like we were walking to something else (not nice) entirely. With the exception of the cafe staff, The service left a lot to be desired. We interacted with the staff at the buffet, casino and front desk. We had talked with someone at the front desk about some extra charges on our card and were told they would fall off, but they didn't. I called customer service and was told those charges were non refundable, and they "didn't know what that front desk representative was talking about". In my opinion, it was rude. After the amount of money we spent there and them being a Caesars property, I would have expected a higher level of service is all I'm saying

The extra charges usually referred to is the deposit for incidentals in case of damage to the room, which will be refunded from us to your back within 4 days. Your bank may take longer to get the money back to your account. Hopefully during your next stay, we can better explain and assist.

Surprisingly meh

The Horseshoe nice enough for a mid to low level hotel, but I was very surprised that the door to every guest room on my floor had gouges into the wood that were not repaired or painted and the carpet in the hallway and the room were sowing wear. It ain't Vegas, but for a second-rate casino in Southern Indiana, it's good enough. At least, that is what the shabbiness conveys to me.

Nice hotel - long wait for the casino

This is a nice hotel. The valet was quick and pleasant, check in was easy also. We did not realize there was a long long walk to the casino from the hotel. Since the casino is a boat they have to raise and lower the boat with the water. We waited 45 minutes twice.
