Nice hotel, great rates

We got a room cheaper through Expedia than we would've at the front desk but other than that everything at this Hotel exceeded expectations. The pool was very nice; heated and clean with plenty of towels. We used the workout room and all the equipment was in great shape. The breakfast, which was included with the room, had something for everyone. A huge storm hit Bardstown while we were at this hotel and there was a lot of hail. The staff was quick to deice and shovel the walkways so that guests could safely get in and out of the building. The roof sustained damage in the storm and there was a leak in one of the upstairs hallways but the staff was again on top of it and quick to repair and clean up the issue. Every staff member we dealt with was very polite and helpful. Bonus: fresh baked cookies!

Brft better than the usual "free" brft fare. Beds, pillows, etc very comfy. Everyone pleassnt.

Nice rooms but staff less accommodating

Pros: Great beds and pillows
Was in town for a funeral. Asked about a 2pm checkout because we wanted to change before our 6 hour drive home. The afternoon desk staff could not confirm. Told us to check with desk in the morning. Didn't bother.

The property just didn't have a Hampton Inn feel. It was clean but not exceptional. Seemed like it needed a facelift

We were there one night to see My Old Kentucky Home decorated for the Christmas. The Hampton was great and the staff excellent. We asked for a local nice restaurant and the front desk recommended a couple. We decided on JD's Steakhouse and had the best ribeye i have had in years. We will come back to Bardstown again and will definitely stay there again.
