Refurbished older motel complete with old-time style brass room key on big plastic tag. Interior was clean and starkly efficient. Fine for our one night stay. AC/heater under front window is very loud even at low speed. Hotel faces a bysy local street so every noisy passing vehicle is easily heard. If you’re a light dleeper, consider elsewhere. However for the price, room is acceptable and a good bargain.

Fridge didnt work well, water seemed to leak from bathroom through the wall by the beds and staff wasnt very helpful when trying to adjust our stay which they ultimately refused to help. Would not stay here again and would rather spend the money somewhere else.

There was still dirty clothes in the room when first arriving at the property. There was no heat in the room. We had to go buy blankets just to stay warm while in the room. The mini fridge did not work at all. The electrical outlet near one side of the bed didn’t work at all. The lady that checked us in, wasn’t very personable at all. Gave her the last name on the reservation, said she had it. Still asked to see it on my phone. The only nice thing about this place is it where it is located. Otherwise you are better off staying somewhere else.

This hotel was perfect for my needs and very reasonably priced. The room was very pretty, clean, and had all I needed. Everything has been updated. The staff was charming and very inviting. I will stay again.

The property is old. It’s located off a major highway. There’s a lot of traffic noise. The AC unit in the room does not have a fan that will run constantly. So there’s no way to block out the noise. There was only a sheet on the bed, no blanket or quilt. I had to put my clothes on to stay warm and sleep. There’s no carpet in the room so at least the floor seems clean. I would not stay here again. At $80 a night, you get what you pay for

For our needs this motel was quite adequate. A decent place to come to in the evening comfortable beds but the bathroom needed better cleaning. Other than that no complaints.

rude people
the room was fine but check out was at 11am and phone rang exactly at 11 am on the dot asking if we was staying another night we was just getting our stuff together to leave, told then we was coming out in a just a minute we was getting out things together. walked out to the car and she was standing there waiting on key that is so rude and annoying we was getting ready to leave it was just 11:05 and they acted like we was staying in there forever just very rude

The Old Bardstown Inn is an old school hotel. There were no frills but the essentials were good. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean and cotton! I love cotton sheets. The room had vinyl plank floor which I appreciate. I detest hotel room carpet! Yuck! There was a microwave and refrigerator. It was a good value stay in a really nice area, convenient to many Bardstown attractions and only a few blocks from the downtown area. I'd stay here again.

This property is clean and well maintained. The main area of the rooms are recently updated and look great. The bed is comfortable, there is a nice sized TV, a mini fridge and microwave. The bathroom needs to be updated and renovated as it was falling apart in places and the sink faucet is very close to the edge of the sink. The owner and staff are nice and friendly. The breakfast is toast, bagels, yogurt, bananas, and pastries, which was perfect for us. Overall a great place to stay, especially for the price.
