dirty and in need of repairPosted Aug 17, 2015
Cons: Tear it down and start over
Location: Nothing that I can tell to do in Elk City
Arrived fairly late but it didn't appear that there were many guests, so were unhappy to get a room right by the breakfast room and practically in the lobby. Enough caulk around the shower to plug a leak in the Hoover Dam. Gigantic beetle in the shower curtain that was hard to catch and finally kill. Desk clerk told me that I had paid $68 to Expedia when in fact I was charged $98- it certainly wasn't worth $98. The only thing good I can say is that the beds had clean sheets and were comfortable.

OK room, bad coffeePosted Mar 15, 2015
Pros: It was clean, comfortable, and close to where I needed to go in Elk City. Good location right off Interstate 40.
Cons: The coffee, the coffee, the coffee. And the ability of the front desk staff to transfer guest calls.
My room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was OK, but the coffee was terrible ... it was more like tan water. Don't expect to find any kind of decent coffee in this town .. I tried McDonald's and the local coffee shop, but could not find decently brewed coffee. My wife tried to call me each night I was there through the motel number, but it took multiple calls each night before the night staff person ( who sounded like a teenager they just hired) could find someone to transfer the call to my room. One night, it took 7 (yes, 7!!) calls before a manger answered the phone and transferred the call. Apparently, the motel management had disconnected the call-direct-to-room feature and thus guest calls had to do through the front desk ... but then the staff person didn't know how to do it!. It was very frustrating.

Booked a 2 rm suite & actual room was only 1 roomPosted Jun 12, 2014
Bath was extremely small, tub had 1 hard to use safety bar, breakfast was mediiocure at best (egg patties!?). Soundproofing was very poor.
