The most horrible place we have ever stayed at.Posted Jun 16, 2014
Pros: THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT THIS MOTEL TO LIKE.
Cons: Kick them off Expedia...it left a very BITTER experience right now and am very dubious about using expedia again to make any type of reservations.
Location: We were there to watch our son graduate from University.we found many things to do. No thanks to this placed...
When we arrived on 6-13-14, we were told that there was no cable tonight, Then we were put into a SMOKING room when neither of us smoke and I DID not choose a smoking room.in fac on the web page I don't remember there being either selection.,Then the room had cobwebs in the corners and down the wall, and were serously nicotine stained we asked for a non smoking room and were told they had none, in fact there was not a room anywhere in Ellensburg as we were there on Central Washington University graduation week-end, the toilet was not flushing right, the curtains did not work properly and were full of holes the bed spread had a big hole on the top of it. Could hear the people in the next room going to the bathroom as well. We checked again on Saturday night for tv, and were told the bill hadn't been paid or transferred into the new management and they weren't sure when they would have cable so it was not just Friday night but no cable available at all.. that was false advertising on the web page,,,, IT WAS TERRIBLE !!!

Pros: The funny young kid who checked us in...Norman:)
our first room smelled of cat urine, horrible! We used an entire can of Fabreze to try and kill the smell; needless to say it did not work. the walls were dirty, bedding ripped, torn, with burn holes. Also I feel false advertisement; no blow-dryer, no coffee pot, no clock; also when I asked for a roll-away-bed, they claimed to not have any. our small fridge in the room was broken and the door would not close, so it would not keep anything cold. Ice machine was broken. From the looks of the room, I wondered if they were hourly rates.

Worst hotel I've stayed in many years.Posted Jun 10, 2013
Location: Ellensburg is a great location. Hotel however needs a lot of work.
Worst experience in many years. No maid service at all the first day. The maid only took the dirty towels the second day and I had to go to the front desk and ask for a towel. The carpet hadn't been vacuumed in a while. The hotel attempted to charge me for my stay even though I booked through Expedia. This was definitely not a $70.00 a night hotel. More like $19.95 a night and that 's being generous.

Pros: The muffins in the lobby in the morning.
Cons: The room.
Location: Not a bad location but the street does not quiet down at night and a train every 3 hours with nothing between it and the hotel
I was given 1 room, but had to switch because the smoke alarm was chirping. The second room had stains on the carpet, one bedspread had a hole in it and the curtains had lots of mini holes and the eye hole was scratched up and you couldn't see out of it. Ruby street does not quiet down at night so I had to run the fan in the room to quiet the outside noise down. There's also a train that is 1 block away, it runs approximately every 3 hours and there is nothing between the train and the hotel to buffer it's noise at night. When I got into bed I had to pull about a dozen long dark hairs off the sheets and the pillows. To top it off I'm in the middle of my shower the next morning and see a clod of long dark hair stuck to the side of the shower. I have short blonde hair. Totally grossed out by this point and couldn't wait to check out. Muffins in the lobby were fresh and good and the office staff was pleasant, but thats the only good thing I can say about the hotel.

There was a train that came by three times during the night. The heater was really loud. Did not sleep well.

Pros: no comment
Cons: no comment
the room had a musty smell to it,the smoke alarm kept sounding off because the battery was dead and needed to be replaced, and the sink leaked undernieth and on to the carpet which had a wet spot of about a 3 foot diameter circle ,and the garbage dumpster was so full and overflowing (which was very unatractive)but other than that it was a place to lay down and take a shower.,and to be honest---I would not recomend it to any one.

Pros: Walking distance to restaurants, close to where we needed to be!
Cons: Bedding and shower curtain old
The check in staff was nice.we asked if they had a rolaway bed and they didn't have a spare one but she gave us a matt. Also the 2nd floor top step we felt was not safe! When we checked out at 7:30 am the main door wasnt opened,we found that odd!we rang a bell and a guy came from a back room, he removed a towel from a crack and we put the key in and that was that! Things seemed old but clean and the price was good!

if all you need is a bed and a bathroom ...Posted Sep 27, 2011
Our room was pretty clean, so was the bathroom. Definitely outdated decor, but it was just fine for a no frills place to stay.
