Beautiful Setting but...

Posted May 15, 2017
This is truly one of the most beautiful places you could ever visit. However for the high room cost and resort fees it does not deliver. It is not clean to the standards one would expect. Our room had not been vacuumed when we arrived or during our stay. The bathroom floor was not cleaned and had nasty smears and spots around the toilet. Our first request to properly clean the room did not happen. When we returned for the evening the floors were still dirty, no soaps and shampoos had been replaced, no glasses washed, and no garbage cans emptied. We again cineaced the front desk who took care of it, but it was an expensive and disappointing stay. We will probably not return.

Wonderful nature and average pricey hotel

Posted Apr 25, 2017
Pros: Quiet location, wonderful nature around and nice resort area.
Cons: Room furniture, AC should work to both heat/cool. Pricey.
Location: Hiking/biking, see nice nearby wild-western towns, enjoy fresh air and quiet environments.
I am completely dissatisfied with this booking. First of all, my room was not ready and i had to wait 2 hours, get it only at 6:20pm, and i had to change my kid`s diapers in the restroom (this is for $360 per night). Then I found out that my room has no private hottub, even though it is displayed on the booking page image and the description says it has 2 bathrooms (wrong). Talking to the reception resulted only in the fact that they do have such rooms with hottub, but they are all booked and mine is not such, and I should talk to Expedia regarding this issue. What a shame to both of you. If I knew this, I would never book this overpriced room for $360 a night and would take a cheaper $270 with the same number of beds.

weekend getaway

Posted Apr 24, 2017
Great hotel and food, awesome staff. Took my wife for her birthday, we all had a great time. None of us golf and we had a blst hiking, playing at the pool and slides (our son is 11) and my wife loved the spa.

Great weekend getaway

Posted Apr 24, 2017
Location: -Cle Elum Lake and downtown Cle Elum -Hiking/walking trails -Fishing -Wine -Pool/swimming for families and kids -Spa -Beautiful scenery
We went to Suncadia for a one-night stay at the Lodge. We had a wonderful time and it was the perfect weekend getaway from Seattle. Suncadia is great for all seasons. Summer and winter would be the most fun, but there's plenty to do even if the weather is no good. We went to the winery in the evening and the pool and fitness center in the morning. Overall, everything is pricey but worth it if you're looking for a short getaway on a special occasion. The only thing I wish was different was that check-in time is 4pm and check-out time is 11am. We didn't quite get enough time to relax on our last day because we felt rushed to head out. Other than that, I highly recommend Suncadia for anyone.

Excellant Birthday Getaway!

Posted Apr 22, 2017
Loved the location and beautiful views! Pools and hot tubs were enjoyed lots and walking trails! Especially the stairs going down to the river. Only complaint is that it was a little expensive for the rooms conditions, furniture/tables worn and old and not the most comfortable. I'm sure we'll try and visit there again!

It wasn't terrible.

Posted Apr 17, 2017
We had a studio at the lodge and stayed one night over Easter Saturday. Didn't eat at the Portal or the gas lamp grille. Stayed in our room and cooked some food on the nice in room appliances. The best feature was probably the pool although it's like 3 minutes away by car so you have to drive there or take the shuttle. Nice and big pool although at 78 degrees felt chilly and our 2.5 year old got blue lips. The hot tub was nice with strong jets.

Nice hotel, not worth the money

Posted Apr 17, 2017
You pay a pretty penny just to stay, but they get you every way on top of that too. Resort fees upon checkout. Pool isn't free. Food is decent, but overpriced. Certain staff members are very friendly, but more are stuck up than not. Almost didn't receive amenities that were paid forby a friend. We had to go out of our way to get them a couple times because staff was confused.

Not worth the money.

Posted Mar 27, 2017
So we arrived on Friday night. First thing on getting to our room was the provided wine glasses were dirty. Had to wash them to use them. Then we wanted dinner and called for room service. Got voice mail. Took them 35 minutes to call back. Then when we finally got our food the fries for the burger and sandwich we ordered were old and cold. Next morning asked for late check out the next day and was told they were really slow but would need to ask Sunday morning. Lastly it took 15 minutes for the water to get hot enough to take a shower. Overall while we still managed to have a good time, this did not feel worth the money we spent to stay here.

Good for family with little kids

It was a good, quick, fun get away. We liked the hotel except pizza we ordered for a room service. We spent over 80 dollars for cold pizzas!

Great family friendly get a way

Posted Feb 27, 2017
Pros: Location, all the amenity options (indoor pool, ice skating, sledding and dining options) the staff and well just about everything is great.
Cons: The rooms are getting a little worn and are in need of refurbishment. They are still comfortable and nice just in need of a little attention.
We always have a great time at Suncadia. The hotel is lovely and the staff always accommodating. Rooms are great for a family of 3 who need a kitchen.
