Convenient location

Food is very close by and It is a block away from the freeway entrance. it has a small indoor pool so you can go swimming even when it's cold out.

Okay Stay

The room was not as awfull as I thought, it was my last pick of places to stay so I was nervous, and it was surprisingly updated which was great. The bed was not terrible but sunk in a bit towards the middle. The shower was dirty and the handle for the sink was older with grooves in the back and that was not clean. Those are difficult handles to clean in the first place but they still were dirty which was kind of gross. They had a very nice TV, a nice small mini fridge in which was great as we needed one, parking was great and easy, staff was great! So friendly and very attentive! Thin walls, did wake up to every sound of our neighbors getting busy so that was unpleasant as well as a group outside the door at 5am. Otherwise overall not horrible stay :)

Clean and comfortable

Good location

Hotel was average but my biggest complaint is the bed. Hard as the floor. Very little toiletries, no lotion or shampoo. Won't stay again.

Thank you for giving us feedback. We will look into getting lotion for our guest rooms. We do provide shampoo, and I have spoken with my housekeepers to make sure they are putting shampoo in every room. We are also in the process of inspecting all our beds to make sure they are up to standard.

As Expected

Pros: The staff, except for the breakfast lady, was excellent. They were professional, friendly, and helpful.
Cons: If you need outlets in your room, good luck. You have to unplug something (lamp, microwave) to plug in even 1 phone charger or computer.
Location: Ellensburg is a small college town and a convenient pass through if one is cruising through on I-90. Be prepared to drive to do anything.
This hotel was as expected....no frills, a bit frayed around the edges, mostly clean (beds and sheets felt clean and comfortable), and acceptable for an inexpensive night in a hotel. The staff was great (except for the cranky breakfast lady who was texting non-stop and rude if interrupted) and the location is good if one needs to do things in Ellensburg. They allow pets which is great and have plenty of parking. The breakfast was a standard cereal/yogurt/toast/waffle experience. I have stayed there before, but feel there were not a lot of improvements made since I stayed there last a few years ago.

Pretty much what you would expect from a super 8 hotel. However the pool in the hot tub were both not open with no status as to when they might be water drained as well.

Thank you for your review. It is true, we did recently renovate our pool for the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of all our guests. Renovations, while necessary, are never convenient for anyone. Our pool and hot tub will be up and running on Thursday, March 3, as is posted at the front desk as well as on the pool room door. My family & I arrived after check in time and still had to wait an hour for a room to be available. Breakfast only had waffles and cold cereal w/o bowls available. The hot tub was not available either.

Thank you for telling us about your stay. We understand how frustrating it can be to arrive and not have a room available. Our housekeepers did their best to clean rooms as quickly and efficiently as possible due to a sold out night. We are looking into hiring more housekeepers so what happened last weekend does not happen again. Our breakfast is the Superstart breakfast that is standard for all Super 8 hotels; however, we have spoken with our breakfast attendants to make sure they are stocking the breakfast room properly. For the safety of our guests, our spa was out of order, but our maintenance technician has corrected the issue. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to see you again in the future.

I didn't have high expectations for a $60 room but they let me check in early, the room was clean and had a table with chairs and a desk with a mirror which was nice and unexpected. A nice place to stay a few nights for cheap!
