Nice modern roomsPosted Sep 24, 2015
Pros: Modern rooms
Cons: Better coffee would be nice
Location: Great location next to I-75 on US 301. Lots of shopping and dining options
Enjoyed the room. A bit n the small side with 2 beds but the desk/dresser layout was pretty cool. River view was nice as well

Ellenton, FL Sleep Inn ...Posted Aug 30, 2015
Pros: The price is right and even included a hot (eggs, sausage, waffles) breakfast!
Cons: The elevator could have been a little faster ...
Ellenton, FL Sleep Inn ... conveniently located off the highway, excellent river view (worth the extra $5) and close to everywhere I wanted to be that weekend. When visiting friends in the area I usually stay at their house ... but now that I know about this fine hotel I will be staying there! I like not having to put my friends out and having my own space, too.

Quick vacation stayPosted Jul 6, 2015 on Hotels
Nice economic place near the outlet mall and easy access to interstate. Clean comfortable room. Breakfast was okay, nothing great but got calories in U.S. To get through the morning.

Overall, it was a good experience.Posted Jul 6, 2015
Pros: Organized, quiet, staff was polite and helpful, and the hotel seemed very clean overall.
Cons: The beds and or sheets/blankets provided could be a little more comfortable.
Location: Very close to two different highways. A Walgreens is within walking distance, there is a local bar right around the corner.
I'm used to overly expensive hotels being that I am from the Miami, FL area. When I saw the price of the room at the Sleep Inn, my first thought was this is going to be a cheap, run down hotel in a bad area. However the pictures posted seemed to be the nicest of others I had looked at in the area. I showed up to the hotel exhausted after driving almost four hours. I noticed immediately how welcoming and pleasant the staff was. Check in was very quick and painless and they made it a point to tell me about the complimentary breakfast from 6:00 AM - 10:00 AM. I checked into my room, and much to my surprise it was actually like the pictures posted. In my traveling experiences, a lot of hotels will post pictures of rooms in their prime. The room came standard with a nice flat screen TV with satellite channels, a mini fridge, a nice working AC, and a closet with a nice ironing board and iron provided. For the price that I paid, I was very satisfied with my stay. Should I be in the area again I would definitely use this hotel as my go to.

Good value, good breakfast.Posted Jun 30, 2015 on Hotels
I would have given 5 stars, but I was in town for a funeral and had been trying to get there for 2 days. When I finally arrived at 12:30, having missed the funeral & trying to get to the lunch celebration, I was told I couldn't check in until 3pm. Not able to shower, not able to change clothes, I was offered the lobby bathroom. Unfortunately, that bathroom is also used for the pool and the floor was completely wet. Frustrated, I left in the clothes I'd had on for 2 days and paid my respects. My appearance wasn't important, but I could have used some compassion.
