Overnight before flight out.

Spent one night with my granddaughter before heading back to Alaska. Very nice room, comfortable bed, nice shower. Breakfast was decent as well!

Clean and comfortable

Very clean and nice room and very friendly staff. Our room was quiet and clean, and for our one night stay, it was very comfortable. The hotel is on a busy intersection of Rtes. 3 and 1, so it is accessible to stores, but it is not the most beautiful setting. It is about a 25 minute drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia. Also, an excellent Thai restaurant is nearby, as are several good local roadside lobster pounds. :-)

OK, but pricey due to location.

Pros: Size of room and condition of facilities. Benches at foot of beds nice touch and convenient.
Cons: Wired Internet not functional. View from window was of a ROOF. Standard breakfast fare. Bed hard. Small table, bad chair. Pricey.
Location: Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor.
OK clean room, larger than most but space not used for any extra furniture besides the norm, just open space. Really small table space, office chair would not stay at a reasonable height, would gradually "deflate" after setting to a very low level. Typical staff, neither pleasant nor unpleasant, just there.... Typical breakfast fare for a hotel of this type, frozen hot food, muffins, bread, bagels, etc. Would be nice to see some local produce or fresh bakery items. View from the window was of a ROOF blocking 90% of the scenery. Bathroom was large and clean, nice. Climate controls OK. Wired Internet not there but not functional - wireless was OK.

Clean, convenient and kid friendly

Friendly staff, decent breakfast, kids enjoyed the indoor pool, but especially enjoyed the water park a few miles down. A quick and lovely car ride to Bar Harbor. Not the prettiest area of Maine but less expensive than the tourist traps.

Fine place and well run. Distance to Acadia National Park should result in lower prices, as local area is "Anywhere USA."
