Location Suits Us Perfectly

Pros: Staff are always efficient and friendly.
Cons: Our trip coincided with a large wedding that made parking difficult and the noise level was high.
Use it as a base for visiting an elderly relative. It is a easy, convenient, and pleasant place to stay.

My check out was processed the night before i was

I booked a three night stay and on my last night there, the management went ahead charged my credit card and processed my checkout and slipped an envelope with my receipt under my door. Next morning i asked them if this was standard practice of if they do this only with certain guests.They denied having processed the checkout and said it was only a bill and they will process the checkout when i am ready to leave although what i was given was clearly a receipt. When i went to be checked out, the agent gave me a fake smile and told me I was fine. I am a woman of color so my only conclusion is they had decided that perhaps i will sneak off without paying my bill. The manager was present when i asked if what they did was standard practice or just reserved for certain clients and did not say a word. I had enjoyed my stay until i was disrespected in this manner although there was no reason for anyone there to make any assumptions about my credibility. I gave them a credit card on file and i ate in the restaurant, paid with a card and left tips for all meals i ate there.

I apologize for the confusion with your check out. Holiday Inn has a Rapid Check out program, where we print a copy of the bill and slide it under the door on the morning the guest is to going check out. Although the bill actually shows a zero balance nothing is charged to the guest card before the guest actually checks out or the front desk is made aware that the room is vacant. This procedure allows the guest to review their bill before their credit card actually gets charged and also provides the guest with a zero balance bill if they choose to depart without having to coming to the desk therefore making the checkout process smoother and quicker. Again I sincerely apologize for the confusion and hope this better clarifies our policies. Thank you for choosing to stay with us and we are happy that you enjoyed your stay.

Quick trip to Elmira

Pros: Close to everything we needed, clean and staff helpful and friendly.
Cons: Mattress was very uncomfortable.
Location: Restaurant on property was good, Duncan Donuts was close by. Since we were there for a funeral did not do much around the town.
My husband and I were in town for a funeral. Hotel was clean and staff at hotel and restaurant were friendly and helpful. Restaurant served good tasting and quality food. Room was clean but bed a little uncomfortable. Would definitely stay there if we were back in town.

Great place to sleep

Stayed a one night it was comfortable and clean and the staff was friendly. Had a quick dinner in the lounge it was tasty and priced right.

Heater in the room didn’t work and room was dirty!

Had to get switched to another room because the heat did not work. The next room was gross. There was a dirty used towel in the shower from a previous guest. Clearly the housekeepers are half cleaning in order to miss this. This hotel was over priced. Beds are uncomfortable and pillows are extremely cheap. Will not stay here again.
