Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, bed was comfortable with clean linen. I think maybe the carpet could have been cleaner and better vacuumed, there were hair clips on the floor. Housekeeping Lady was very kind asking if I needed more coffee etc. The only problem was the noise in the middle of the night from the guest laundry next to my room, causing me to wake up. But apart from that a pleasant room at an affordable price.

Overall very nice. Two suggestions, the coffee machine should have more tea options, some sugar, milk/cream and the shower heads should be cleaned to have proper shower.

Staff was rude, key cards did not consistently work in the side door, plastic water glasses are so thin and flimsy you can’t pick them up. May not sound like much until they spill everything on your dress before you leave for a family funeral. Desk chair peeling so badly it comes off on your slacks! Luggage racks are few and very far between! Manager does not know that signs on the back of room doors state check out time is 12:00. Would not give us bereavement rate as we booked thru a third party, just unbelievable! Will not stay there again!!

Great nights sleep. The beds are super comfortable and the room was so quiet. Staff was very friendly and helpful. If you are in Elmira I highly recommend this hotel.

STAFF WAS FRIENDLY. LOCATION IS WONDERFUL. NICE TO HAVE A BAR AND RESTAURANT AVAILABLE. ROOM WAS A LITTLE DIRTY FOR MY TASTE. THE TV TURNER HAD NOT BEEN WIPED DOWN. THERE ALSO WERE SEVERAL ANTS AND TINY ROACHES IN THE BATHROOM. OTHERWISE, OKAY.

I was up here in Elmira … for a College, meet and greet for my youngest son,.. From the moment I checked in till moment I left the first floor, which is the floor. I stayed on room 161 to be exact was inundated with marijuana secondhand smoke guest were smoking in the rooms and in front of the hotel it was TERRIBLE!!! I called the front desk. They didn’t even offer me a room change. They said it was nothing they can do about it… remember folks you get what you pay for!!

This was truly an excellent stay. We were greeted and checked in by the manager, Sheila. Super professional, friendly and welcoming. Accomodated us on a room request and even offered to bring our luggage to our room, whixh we politely declined. The bartenders Tyler and Amy we fantastic. Knowledgable of the menu, wine and cocktails. Super friendly and welcoming. Even when we came in to the bar half hour before closing, Tyler didnt rush us at all. Amanda at the front desk who worked the overnight shift was super fun and friendly. We truly felt warm and welcome and was treated with true hospitality. Only a couple of downfalls. The keys didnt work all the time. Had to figure the right touch to unlock the doors. Majorly, i noticed there were no security cameras on property which made me a little concerned.

3 family stayed in2 nights over the passed long weekend. The registration staff is very helpful to arrange the rooms close together. The place looks sightly out of datebut is well maintained. The swimming pool is excetionally clean and I would suggest the hours to be extended longer. We had two breakfasts in the restaurent and are.impressed with the quality.and quantity though the service seems a little bit slow. But with the waitress apologetic smile and our nonurgent. schedule that does not borther. much. The business center has pc and desk accessible by room key.

Staff were nice and friendly. The place is kept well but quite old. The other guests were loud even in the middle of the night. The air conditioning wasn’t working when we came in but they fix it. The area didn’t have much around.

Key cards didn't work for several guests
Major problem with key cards. Everyone we traveled with had problems using their key cards. Even other guests we talked with had problems. Need to fix it or you will lose business.

I didn’t like that at 11pm kids running in the hallways slamming room doors. I didn’t like at breakfast we asked for hot tea and milk which we waited so long for the milk the tea was then cold waitress wasn’t pleased she had to replace the three teas.I didn’t like our breakfast was pretty cold when we got it and it took ages even tho there was very few hotel residents in the restaurant .All in all it was an ok stay .Saturday night’s barman was pleasant .Wouldn’t recommend the hotel to friends or family.
