Pros: The social hour and size of the room.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind. It was a great value.
Location: Ideally located by the Corning Museum of Glass.
On a visit to the Corning Glass Museum, you could not ask for a more convenient location as the property technically adjoins the Museum Welcome Center parking lot. Overall the stay was an excellent value as Staybridge is marginally more than lower end hotels in the area but offers far more room (space and trimmings) and better amenities. The free breakfast was ok but on Mon-Wed there is an excellent "social hour" with complimentary beer, wine, and apps/salad which saves quite a bit on a trip having to skip dinner these nights. I would stay here again.

Wonderful!

Posted Dec 24, 2015
Checked in for a special occasion on a Monday evening. The pool and hot tub were both in working order without an overload of chemicals and the temperatures were just right. We were able to enjoy the holiday decorations in Corning before returning to the hotel to enjoy the complimentary social (pizza, beer and wine) before retiring for the evening. Although close to I-86 we were able to get a good night's sleep without road noise. Will definitely be staying again. P.S. Very convenient to the Corning Museum of Glass.

Comfortable and close to the Museum.

Posted Dec 5, 2015
Pros: The two bedroom/bathrooms. We could watch TV and socialize and also have some privacy.
Cons: The desk staff were not around all of the time. We called down to the desk and got no answer/
Location: Corning, NY - Wonderful!!! Lots to do!
My boss and I went down for the Corning Museum Experience. We were definitely not dissappointed! The hotel is close to the Welcome Center where shuttles take you to the Corning Museum, the Rockwell Museum and the Market Street downtown. We were there over Thanksgiving weekend and it was a little cold. The shuttles were excellent! The two-bedroom suite was perfect for us. We could socialize and talk about our day, but then we had privacy in our own bedroom/bathroom to get ready for the next day. Beds were very comfortable. We used the pool/hot tub one night after attending the Parade of Lights and were quite cold. It was wonderful and relaxing. We warmed up quickly! Overall, very enjoyable experience and would definitely recommend it!

Our family was in town for a funeral and the Staybridge hotel went above and beyond to accommodate all of us. The front desk staff was amazing. I would highly recommend this hotel for business or pleasure. The two bedroom suite was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed.

Convenient weekend stay

Posted Oct 29, 2015
Pros: Free breakfasts were great - excellent selections, clean, well stocked, great staff. Comfortable and well decorated area, fireplace, tv, library.
Cons: Room appeared clean, but smelled smokey/musty. Black out drapes were good, but sheers were dingy. Decorative pillow needs to be cleaned.
Location: Easy to get to, and next door to Glass Museum. Close to Wegmans, fast food, shopping and dining district. Beautiful area, especially in the fall.
Great location in relation to route access and proximity to museums and restaurants. It is not really walking distance to Gaffer District, but an easy drive. Queen bed room, first floor preference. Noisy because of the location/hall traffic. Nice clean bathroom, complete kitchen set up. Staff was excellent with the exception of one on a personal call when we had to wait to check in. Property is obviously well taken care of inside and out. The rating of 3 on room cleanliness only has to do with the lingering musty odor. Not sure if room was previously smoking or pet, but was in need of clean/refreshed draperies and pillows/upholstery. Good lighting and furniture was comfortable and in good condition.

Great hotel next to the Corning Glass Museum

Posted Oct 5, 2015 on Hotels
This was a great find in Corning. It was right next to the Corning Glass Museum. The facilities were attractive and the rooms large and comfortable. We wish that all of our future hotel stays are as nice as this one. We also benefited from hotels.com's price match guarantee. After booking the hotel a month ago, we checked back during one of Hotels.com's sales and found that the price had dropped by about $25 per room per night. Since we had two rooms for two nights, that amounted to a savings of $100. A quick call to Hotels.com customer service got us the reduced price.

Nice!

Posted Sep 29, 2015 on Hotels
Nicest staff you could ask for. Right next door to the Corning museum of glass. Bed was not the most comfortable and the toiletries were really tiny and not of good quality. Would have been nice to have a little better towel service too. Might be because of extended stay option. All in all, a really great hotel and will stay there again. Kitchen was a huge bonus, so was the extra room. Next time, I will swim in that nice pool. It looked sooooo clean!
