“The staff were accommodating, otherwise 1 star. Too bad because this place has so much potential to reinvent itself. The valley setting is lovely…However, we were met by a dirty ashtray outside our building, spiders in the tub, a not filled/disgusting swimming pool, and lack of food outlets etc. The place was teaming with male golfers though, so if that’s your scene, have at it. Fore!”

“This place offers an affordable price compared to other hotels in Traverse City. I chose it mainly to have a place to sleep. I used silicone ear plugs to help with noise since the air conditioning unit and traffic can be loud. It has excellent hot water and a small refrigerator, which I really appreciate. There is plenty of parking. I will stay at this place again.”

“Great location. Loved the sauna, cold plunge and hot tub. Fitness center down for repair was a bummer. Patio was neat to see wild life. Nice showers”

“We have stayed here several times over the years and have always enjoyed this little place. Always clean and friendly in a peaceful location. Unfortunately, the place is getting a little too pricey for a senior couple.”

“The bed’s hard, the sheets dirty and old, and the duvet was raggedy. The bathroom fan as extremely loud and the AC didn’t work well. Worst part is that if you book through Expedia you can’t get a discount or refund.”

“This will be a really nice place once they get it renovated. Love that it was on a quiet lake. Boat dock, row boat, fire pits, charcoal grills, picnic tables and even shuffle board.”

“The mini fridge did not get cold The shower floor was level with the bathroom floor so water ran into the bathroom causing the floor to be slippery.”

“Room was not cleaned, checked into a dirty room place smelled like dog piss every where bed was not made up, was sent to best western after we checked in and found the room not cleaned. At midnight traveling with a toddler that was not something I wanted to do.”

“Amazing! Great location for snowmobiling, enough space for all us guys and our gear! Maintenance was great! Got a foot of snow while there and the plowing was done when we were out. Rooms were great, bed perfect, showers clean. We will for sure be back next year!”
