I didn't receive what was advertised Room I was offered was described as a CA King suite with a view of the Bay Bridge. Instead on check-in We received a double with a view of the back parking lot.Overall a pleasant stay.

Thank you for your feedback. Looking at your reservation it seems that you had booked a standard 2 double beds, I am not sure where you were informed of the CA King suite. We do apologize for the confusion.

Cons: I would update the carpet and the flimsy doors.
We were a late arrival and only stayed one night, but were impressed with the quick check in and helpfulness of the staff. There's a perfect little bar for a quick night cap in the lobby and a good on site restaurant for a fast, tasty, and affordable breakfast. Rooms were fine. Clean, but a little dated.

Nice hotel close to downtown san francisco

Pros: clean, staff are nice, immediate action to your request
Cons: bathroom is small
Location: hiking at redwood regional park, shopping at the mall, going around san francisco
It was a nice experience staying at this hotel. It is clean, near the freeway, shopping mall and stores

Everything satisfactory. Somewhat confused about whether there was a free breakfast (there was none). The ATM was out of cash, which was alarming.

Clean & updated, near shopping

Pros: The friendliness of the staff. Lots of competing hotels in the area but we've never had the service we had here.
Location: Lots of dining & shopping on Bay Street that is within walking distance. Short drive to downtown SF without the price or hassle of staying in the city
We stay in Emeryville several times a year while visiting family in the area. This was our first time staying at the Sheraton and we will be back. While the room wasn't large, it was clean and comfortable. The staff were exceptionally friendly and fast at check-in despite the large group that came in just ahead of us. Stephanie, who checked us in, was there when we returned late from dinner, and checked us out, greeted us with a smile each time and made sure we knew about the complimentary items offered. I was especially impressed with how the staff handled another guest's rental car break-in. Security is always a concern in the Bay Area, but the staff did everything they could to make her day go more smoothly; they vacuumed the glass out of the rental so she could safely get the remaining belongings and cleaned up the mess outside in a timely manner. (Don't leave valuables in your car!)

Comfortable, good loc traveling between SF and Oak

This hotel for its available food amenities is more like a 3.5-4. It has excellent employees, comfortable spacious, clean rooms and is a quiet location with a wide variety of mid level shopping surrounding you. The food options within this hotel are limited, which is why I rated it this way. That was not a problem for me, but I just want the guest to know this. The graciousness of the quality staff makes up for this. I did not use the exercise facilities, so I can not comment on them. Great location to travel between SF and Oakland.

Overpriced. View is nice. However, the room is small and you could not even close the bathroom door freely after you go inside. Beds are ok but pillows are terrible.
