I don't need something special - no spa no training center - I need only a bed near Empoli And Florence. It was perfect. And staff was nice

We shouldn't have stayed here

Posted Aug 12, 2016 on Hotels
Parking is on a small patio up a steep ramp and leaves little room for negotiating turns or even navigating to a space. Our room had a horrible smell - as if something had been sprayed all over everything to mask another horrible odor. No wonder the proprietor told us to open the double-doors leading out to the balcony. We slept with the doors open and the smell was still in everything - the pillows, the mattress, etc. There was a wonderful wraparound balcony but it would benefit from a simple table & some chairs. We should have taken the mattresses from the bunk beds and slept outside. Regarding 24-hour room service, when I went down to order food at 11:30pm (23:30), the proprietor looked at his watch and shrugged as if to say, "So, what do you want me to do at this hour?" Wi-Fi signal was very weak. The shower was smaller than a phone boot - it's impossible to turn around inside without hitting your elbows. Overall, we feel bad about leaving a less than positive review. The proprietor spoke no English (not his fault - we should know more Italian, obviously) but it made it impossible to give him constructive criticism. The room smell was, by far, the worst part of our stay. Had it not been an issue, it would have been easy to forgive the other issues.

ottimo albergo a 20 minuti da firenze

Posted May 5, 2015

Very good place for stay few nights and visit Florence, Pisa and Lucca. Breakfast very simple but enough to eat something and drink tea or coffee. Car park is for very good drivers ;) it is at the second floor from the street. Silent and nice place, everyday cleaning of the room and nice people.

Eine positive Überraschung

Posted Sep 30, 2013
