Attention to detail

It appeared our room had recently been painted. There was paint dust in the corners of the bathroom and chips of what appeared to be acoustic on the bathroom floor. The shower was large and appeared new but did not have a place to put soap or shampoo. There was no shelf or bench. Sadly, the shower was not clean either. And, the cabinet in the bathroom was a dark brown or black and there was dried toothpaste that had dripped down the front of the cabinet. The room had either not been used recently or not cleaned well. There was enough dust on the shelf where the towels were to write one's name. There was no blow dryer provided in the bathroom. The coffee maker was hidden in a slide out drawer in the main room but there was no where in that area to plug it in. The coffee pot, cups, and the coffee had to be moved across the room and an electrical outlet located in order to make coffee. I had taken my curling iron out of the bathroom to do my hair while my husband was in the shower and discovers there was no extra mirror in the room and no easily located electrical outlet. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the blackout shade worked well. The shades, furniture, carpet, and bedding appeared new and were very modern. It was the little things and the unclean bathroom that really turned us off about this hotel. Breakfast was unavailable at 9:30 on a Saturday morning. We got coffee only. We missed the breakfast memo, I guess.

Great staff, poor hotel. Let me start off by saying ive now stayed at this hotel twice. Both times, for multiple days at a time. The first time was right after they opened. It was very clean but i wouldn't expect less with a new hotel, however, when this hotel was refinished, it was slapped together, poorly. There was absolutely no pride in craftsmanship when they remodeled. Its unfortunate because it ciuld have been very nice. Next--the staff was always great. Always. i have no complaints. They were very helpful whenever we had questions. By biggest problem with our most recent trip was the infestation of ants in our room. Gross. They were everywhere! The housekeepers came in and sprayed twice for us. It seemed to have helped, but not completely. My brother who was on the second level on the opposite end of the hotel had the same problem. Tons of ants in his room. This is a deal breaker for me. Unfortunately. I have another trip to kansas next weekend and i will not be staying here again.

DIsappointing Hotel With a Great Staff

Pros: NIce staff, good location, under $100
Cons: EVerything
Location: WE were just passing through.
The staff at this hotel was very nice, and the location is close to food and the freeway. After that, this hotel has nothing to offer. THere are other hotels in the area, and next time I will give them a try instead. This LaQuinta is very smelly... we had to request a different room because the first one was intolerable. THe second was a little better and we took it. Some updates have been done, but the quality of the workmanship was inferior. The shower door was installed backwards, there was no tub, there was no soap dish in the shower, and both the towel rack and handicapped assistance rack were in the wrong place. This is the second LaQuinta I have stayed at in the last year, and both were terrible. NEver again.

was good , breakfast it was great compare to other hotel i stayed ; swimming pool says inddor but it was preety cold water and asked front desk old lady she says its not hot outside so water definely gona be cold ..kinda rude other then that not bad ...

Our go to place when traveling south

Well located hotel with a number of restaurants within walking distance. Hotel is older but clean and the beds and linens are really nice. We make a point of staying here back and forth when heading south for the winter. Easy in and out with our fifth wheel camper with ample parking.
