Secluded house
The house was nice and cozy. Enjoyed the privacy of the property. The gym and sauna were very relaxing. Some suggestions that would make the stay even more enjoyable is on of the full baths was in the gym building. So the main house only has 1 1/2 baths. Also the main house upstairs bathroom door didn’t close all the way. Other than that we enjoyed the mountains and viewing elk down in Benezette.

Things you should know....not 2.5 bath in winter, etc.
My high school girlfriends and I planned a weekend away in the mountains for the first weekend in January. We ended up having a great time, but there were a few things that we wished we would have known when picking a location, so that is why I am sharing. It is advertised as two bathrooms and half, but this is not true. There is a small building on the property that has a small kitchen, full bath, and weight room. The water to that building is turned off in the winter so you can't use that bathroom and I don't know who would want to walk outside to get to in even in the summer. There was only one main bathroom in the house and the door could not close all the way. (I am talking about hanging open about 10 inches.). There was at least one mouse that lived in the kitchen. We were looking for a place with a dishwasher, but when we arrived their was a note on the counter that the dish washer didn't work and that we would need to hand wash our dishes. This was not communicated ahead of time. Actually communication was poor. It seems like there is an agency that handles the property. I asked a question in the beginning of December, when I booked, and never got a reply. I reached out again the day before we were to arrive to get the code, etc. and I did receive a reply then. They gave me a contact email at that point. I emailed the owners about our visit and didn't hear back yet. It has been a week. None of us were aware that the water would stink. This is the toilet water, dish water, sink water, and shower water. There was filtered water for drinking. Now, we did notice the same odor in a bathroom in town at a restaurant so it must be common. It would have been nice to know why it smelled and to know if it was safe to brush our teeth with it etc. With that said, the place was very clean. There were plenty of towels, etc. We watched some Netflix in the living room. We each had a comfy spot and the t.v. could be adjusted. We woke up to it snowing on Friday and Saturday. We had a pellet stove to fill about 3 times a day and that kept us warm. During the day we adventured out. We found a lot of dirt roads to explore and overlooks. One of the things we were looking for was elk. We didn't see elk until about 4-4:30 each day as we were driving on 555. We also saw wild turkeys and an owl. I wouldn't say don't stay here, I am just saying someone needs to be more clear.

Better than pictures can describe
Very beautiful, well kept, 11 acre compound with 3 ponds a creek with a small waterfall 100 yds from the house. Very remote and private. So many amenities you won't want for anything. Pictures don't come close to showing how beautiful and serene the property is. Slept better than in my own bed. Very comfortable and cozy. Would recommend for anyone looking for peace and quite.
