The property was perfectly situated in the center of colmar city center .The hotel itself was dated but very quant and the staff were very helpful. Would stay there again

The only good thing about the property was the location. The cleanliness of the hotel was horrible. The sheets/pillows were stained. Cover under the sheet was very stained. It seems like they gave us the same used towels the next day; they were just folded up and they were damp still. Noone gave us a wifi login or password . No toiletries for bathroom

Not handicap accessible at all. The only good thing about this property is the location. Rooms are very dated linens and all fixtures are drab and depressing. The services offered are lacking. It is on level with a hostel. Staff is not helpful what so ever, it is a charming small town but honestly there are other options for lodging, and after three nights; THAT WAS ENOUGH. EVERY QUESTION INASKED I WAS TOLD “refer to the book in your room” or “google it”. Great way to waster 1300 u$d Traveler beware

I think house keeping needs a bit of improvement. My shower didn’t look that appealing so I didn’t take a shower that night. Concierge staff was acceptable and made my stay felt welcome.

Not for the xmas market
The hotel itself was lovely, and a perfect location. We thought we would try to avoid some of the christmas market crowd by coming on a sunday, but so much for that. I wish someone would have told us how insane the christmas market crowd would be, as we would have not come at all. An otherwise quaint and beautiful little Alsacian village completely engulfed by a throbbing mob of sticky, loud, rude, cigarette smoking, mouth breathing humans. Disgusting. Felt like pushing through a crowd at a music festival or mardi gras. Couldnt get anywhere. Couldnt get close enough to a booth to even see what was for sale. Stood in line for a half hour for food at a cart and was told we were in the drink line and we had to stand in the OTHER line for ANOTHER half hour for food. Absolute nightmare of a side trip from an otherwise wonderful Swiss holiday.

The ladies running the hotel are really warm and welcoming. I was able to check in before the 3:00 check in time. My room was not ready but they were able to get a me a different room quicker. The hotel is in a great location for the Christmas market. The hotel itself is dated but got a good price so was ok for the money.

Oh nice location in the center of old town. Very walkable. The hotel breakfast was very good in particular. Small room with comfortable king size bed. Clean updated bathroom. Really enjoyed our stay in Colmar.

This is a very central, convenient 3 star hotel with much local flair. The hotel occupies an older building that has been renovated as a hotel. There is much wood and the rooms go all the way up to the attic. Location could not be more convenient if you are by foot. By car, you can drop passengers 2mns away and park in the Saint Josse parking lot (a few mns by foot) @ 3.30€/day. Breakfast is fine. The hotel is close to many restaurants. A very good choice if you choose to visit the "old Colmar".

Fantastic place
Fantastic location and a lovely period property full of genuine charm and character. Great breakfasts and straight out of the door to the old town of Colmar. Liked it so much we stayed an extra night!! Hotel staff gave great advice re parking.

This was overall a good stay! It is right in the middle and Colamr and the staff was very helpful! The room itself was quite small and the air condition did not fully work until the second day.

Nice hotel, friendly staff. Some reviews state dated etc… I wouldn’t say that, it’s a hotel in an old French town at a great price. Location is awesome right on the main area. Would stay here again if coming back to Colmar in the future

Our stay was amazing. This hotel is in the middle of everything! The front desk was extremely friendly and they were very helpful and told us which parking garage was the best (and cheapest). We appreciated the old hotel with vintage furnishings. Our room was extremely comfortable and it had the BEST water pressure and the A/C was amazing. Would definitely stay here again.

Doesn’t get any better than being right in the heart of the old town. Hotel staff are super friendly and accommodating. Rooms are comfortable. Design is a little dated but that adds to the charm of this location that dates to the 14th century. Hotel is very dog friendly too.

The Hotel Saint-Martin was a delightful surprise. Located in the heart of the old city of Colmar, this charming hotel was a perfect spot. We had a beautiful suite with a view of the streets of Colmar. The room was large and comfortable. The staff was kind and helpful. Affordable parking was only a short walk away. We would absolutely stay here again. We loved it.

Hotel clearly needs updating, room decor old and faded. Bed mattress old, thin…well used. Bare essentials hotel…Gojo soap dispensers in bathroom, very tacky. No facial tissues. Noisy as it was warm (no AC) so windows open…rooms overlook courtyard…people gather, talk loud…smoke cigars…unpleasant if trying to sleep with windows open. Parking is ten minute walk away (they say 5 min, it’s not), can’t unload baggage in front of hotel…have to drag it to hotel from parking garage. Annoying after long drive. Breakfast very good, staff friendly but not always knowledgeable. Very close to everything but would stay somewhere else next time.

The hotel is in the heart of Colmar and is convenient to restaurants, bars, museums and historical sites. The staff was friendly and helpful and the views were amazing! If you are looking for old world charm, the Hotel Saint-Martin is it.

We loved our stay here!! It is a beautiful old property dating back to the 1300’s. It was so quaint and adorable like staying in a gingerbread house! Comfortable bed and very roomy. The breakfast was amazing and the staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. Wonderful place in the perfect part of Colmar!

Adorable and quaint place to stay with interesting traditional decor. Clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Amazing location, restaurants with outdoor tables, boutiques, and cute canals with decorative displays everywhere, just outside the hotel front door! We only had 2 small problems which the staff tended to immediately- sink and shower drains were clogged when we first arrived. But we would stay here again.

A great little hotel, right in the old town center. Really, really wonderful staff, so friendly and helpful! Comfortable old rooms and a couple of good restaurants right across the street, as well as a small grocery store. Walkable to everything. I would definitely stay here again if I make it back to Alsace!

I give 5 Stars to this property, one has to understand what a 3 Star property offer is not the same as a 5 star . Son based on that this property is a 5 Star /3star hotel . I loved it and would come back! The only thing I wish it would hace had some amenities because they are useful when one travels.
