This is an absolute gem of a hotel. I'm conflicted by the fact that it is closing for a renovation as I love the style, ambiance, decor, and spirit of the whole place. Of course I can see scope for modernisation, the air-con in one of our rooms was a bit patchy and the bathrooms needed a bit of TLC but its overall charm is irresistible.
Location in the desert is brilliant. Such a refreshing change from the glass, high-rise city, dense traffic and mass population. The whole family loved the relaxed feel and the amazing pools. Staff were discreet and professional - they leave you to enjoy your holiday but are on hand if you need something. Sunset from the rooftop lounge was glorious. Food was superb wherever we ate and I highly recommend the Iftar feast at Al Hadeeradh - amazing experience, amazing food.
