A truly outstanding luxury oasis in the desert. From the moment we arrived (and were greeted with delicious dates and coffee) to departure time, the resort’s outstanding staff made sure that our every need was met and beyond. The property is stunning. We travelled with our two young children, who were treated like rock stars by each and every member of the staff. We dined at Ninive and it was amazing, as were the poolside food and bev. The entire family delighted in the camel ride and falcon show and our own regret was not visiting this property sooner. We will be back.

Fantastic service and very well designed resort. The pools were great and the service around this area was first class with towels, water and snacks delivered the minute you sat down on a pool lounge, plus great bar service whenever needed. The rooms were very comfortable and the overall design of the resort was great - we took many photos!!!

This property is a must when you visit Dubai. This was our second time here and we absolutely loved it. My only complaint would be that the first time we visited the pool was open until midnight which was unbelievable. However, the hotel is now under new ownership and the pool closes at 8:00pm during the week and I believe 10pm during the weekend. I highly recommended that the hotel revisit keeping the pool open late at least during the summer months in Dubai

Staycation at Bab Al Shams
Our stay at Bab Al Shams Desert Resort was amazing and the property and rooms are great. Rooftop terrace was amazing with great food and selection of drinks. My only one complaint is that there are three pools at the resort and children use all three. It would be great if one could be adult only.

The hotel is beautiful, very very expensive. It should be all inclusive. Everything is extra cost. If they charge so much they should include all the meals. Is to expensive for what it is. They have so many doves, the start singing since very early in the morning

We had such a great time ,the Hotel is very clean and beautiful, room is so comfortable and the staff is very friendly and professional specially Jovana she was helpful and did all her best to enjoy our vacation.we had dinner at the hazeerah restaurant what an amazing evening everything was great the food was so delicious ,the ambiance was great and the most important thing was the show the dancers the singers I really enjoyed my time .

Amazing stay in the middle of Arabian Desert..the night sky and evening program is worthy to remember forever..It was a royal experience to stay in a room of Arabian Ethnicity all around.. bathrooms were superb..loved it

This is an absolute gem of a hotel. I'm conflicted by the fact that it is closing for a renovation as I love the style, ambiance, decor, and spirit of the whole place. Of course I can see scope for modernisation, the air-con in one of our rooms was a bit patchy and the bathrooms needed a bit of TLC but its overall charm is irresistible. Location in the desert is brilliant. Such a refreshing change from the glass, high-rise city, dense traffic and mass population. The whole family loved the relaxed feel and the amazing pools. Staff were discreet and professional - they leave you to enjoy your holiday but are on hand if you need something. Sunset from the rooftop lounge was glorious. Food was superb wherever we ate and I highly recommend the Iftar feast at Al Hadeeradh - amazing experience, amazing food.

We had a wonderful stay, with friendly service. The staff is all super helpful and anything you request to the room comes quickly. A/C in the room is strong and cools the room nicely. There's a hot water kettle with teas/coffee. Breakfast buffet has many options, providing high chairs for kids. Dinner at Masala was delicious (north indian food). Dinner at Al Hadheerah is a not to miss experience - make sure you stay for the horse/camel show that happens around 9:15pm. Spa/sauna is small but you make a reservation and get the space to yourself for 1 hour. Only caveat - there is no elevator to reach the 2nd floor, so that was a little inconvenient with our baby. Property is well maintained though they are doing a full scale rennovation May 2022. We will definitely return again!
