We stayed for 5 nights at Lanscombe House and from the moment we arrived, we were made to feel very welcome - we were given a guided tour and enjoyed a complimentary cream tea. Our room (number 2) overlooked the garden and was very comfortable, well furnished and equipped with everything we needed. ...
Stayed here for two nights with my husband & two teenage grand daughters. We had a very large family room which was perfect for us. All of the staff were extremely helpful & so friendly. Hotel is located just a 2 minute stroll from the sea front & a10 minute walk into the Harbour & town centre.
Location of hotel is great with stunning sea views and well maintained grounds. The food was excellent and great service from the staff. It is only a 15 minute walk to the town centre and marina. The only concern is the room perhaps can do with a refurbishment. Overall had a fantastic stay.
Great place to stay, family room a good size, nice shared TV room with pool table, good car parking and great food.
the staff were very polite, and the breakfast was very good, also had a heated pool which we used. Only down side was a 15 minute walk to the nearest part of the beach. Oterwise cant fault the hotel.
A lovely coastal view, fabulous, helpful, friendly staff, wonderful breakfasts....a little dafed in decor, our room was very hot even with the windows open fully, during the recent heatwave, we would most definitely visit again and recommend this establishment.

We have come to prefer large hotels whilst on our weekend breaks so that we are not forced to socialise at breakfast and can ...
Well appointed rooms with good facilities and modern bathroom. Breakfast catered for all tastes with home made granola, fresh fruit, European and Full English freshly cooked to order; the staff will even provide special dietary need, if advised early.
My husband and I stayed here with our 6 month old baby. We were a little apprehensive as it was out first time away with the little one. However the owner of the hotel was extremely accommodating to our needs and was very knowledgeable about the surrounding areas and places suitable for children/pushchair ...
